I am wondering if anyone has any information on the ADVAN rims for the Impreza RS. I saw them on Subaru's 2.5 project car and they looked pretty good. Just thought someone might have some info on them. Thanks

Please let us know which model are you looking for. Or at least describe them (i.e.color, how many spokes, size etc. etc.)

Believe it... Forged aluminum wheels are that expensive.

My friend got those wheels dirt cheap lower than I can get them at cost. He got some 16" RG's for $350 a wheel. Although he has been waiting for about 3 months. But the company he got them from moves some really nice wheels and lots of them even Volk TE37's. Another friend got them dirt cheap too the same price as the RG's. If interested they are called Cell Page/Car Trends and are located in Maryland. I dont know their phone number but you can find it in the APEXi ads as a distributer.

You know, for if the rims you are reffering to are the same that were on the 2.5RX for the motorweek shoot, they are NOT TR Typhoons like was said on the show, they are Volk Daytona Speeds.....

Advan rims are also available from BOZZ Performance in California. They buy the rims directly from YRC of Japan, so their prices should be better. Check out their website (Which I am making, hehe) at http://www.bozzperformance.com . When you ask them for a quote, tell them that I refered you.

Here is some info about Advan TC's that I have on my car. They are 17x7 +48 with 215/45/17 S0-2's. We weghted them at one of our recent BAMs and found out that they weight ~43lbs, when the notorious TE37 in the same size (7.5 though) weighted 42lbs. That is why they are expensive. If you want THE BEST rims, get some RG's. Those are the ones to get if you think lightweight.

Lovejoy, what the HELL are you talking about?! Car Trenz is NOT a performance shop!!!! All they sell is rims and universal mufflers and stuff. It's the rice capital of the DC metro area! Whatever would cause you to think that they are a "good shop"?!
