i just got some forester rims for my snow tires but one of them is missing the enter cap any one very lose one and have to buy it from the dealer?... how much?

also what paint should i use if i were going to repaint/cover the scratches?

They sell those caps for like $30-$40 for a new set of four on eBay...probably that much each from the dealer

Jaxx, are you sure they'll fit. Those rims on the pic are 15". I have them on my Forester. I beleive you need at least 16" rim to fit RS brakes.

My 15" legacy steel wheels fit over the RS brakes. Ran them all last winter with no problems.

My brother and I painted a set of very-hard-to-find ATS wheels for his project car. We painted them gun metal gray. They look awesome. Here's what we found.

To repaint your wheels it's best to sand them down to a smooth surface and then prime them and paint them on top of that, because most of the damage on wheels are deep, only sanding them down will get you a nice result.

Use a fine wet sand paper from 3M. something like 1000 wet sand paper or higher... wet the surface constantly and sand lightly adn with patience.... Regular spray paint works very well but remember to apply very light coats and let them dry for at least 1 hour. Since you have to wait 1hour between coats, remember to shake the can well or else you'll spray the vehicle or the solvent at the top of the can and ruin the paint you already applied to the wheels...

i ran for 6 months last year with the ugly steel wheels+snow tires and i believe that webkris has forester rims for auto-x


i am really hoping that when i unmount my the ugly steel rims that they are the 15x6.5 vs 15x6 tif they are i will keep them for race wheels
