View Full Version : Houston area traffic ticket lawyer.
Hey_its_Cole 06-01-2004, 04:16 AM Basicly I got a bull**** ticket for doing 68 while intering the freeway. He said i was doing 68 in a 55 and i told him iwas intering the freeway and was trying to match the flow of trafic. He says "well the speed limit is 55 in the shoulder." I decided I am taking his ass to court. Are there any good lawyers you guys use to get you out of tickets in the Houston area. I may just fight it myself because I think I have a good case. Who was in the blue WRX that passed me while I was pulled over. I was in webster on I 45 south. Any help would be great.
afpdl 06-01-2004, 05:15 AM If its a harris county court sprecher will get you off. Ill try to find his number tommorow if no one post it.
Big_Hitter 06-01-2004, 08:18 AM Try Robert Eutsler at theticketattorney.com
Legacy777 06-01-2004, 09:52 AM I'd also recommend sprecher
D_REX 06-01-2004, 10:30 AM Just out of curiosity, were did he radar you at? Were you still on the feeder or on the section or ramp between the feeder and the freeway?
Oh yeah, another vote for Sprecher. He's 2 for 2 with me :)
How many speeding tickets does this make for you now?
A few people mentioned David Sprecher, who is quite good. Also, Lance Smith, who has got me out of quite a few. However, who actually gave you the ticket? Houston, Webster, or Harris County? That makes a difference...
glilly 06-01-2004, 12:18 PM Yes, David S. Sprecher. He's been my traffic lawyer for, ...15 years now. Great guy.

Drift Monkey 06-01-2004, 01:32 PM I use Sprecher as well....

i second this.
doNOTtell 06-01-2004, 08:00 PM I used Eutsler one time about 4 years ago. Unless he's gotten much better I would not recommend him. Presently I've been using Kameron Searle http://trafficticket.tripod.com/ . He's expensive but I've been very pleased with his results.
BUT..... I may have to switch to Mr. Sprecher as he's got a nice write up in the Houston Press. http://www.houstonpress.com/issues/1996-08-29/feature2.html :D

It is hard to know because the distance betwwen the bay area entrance ramp to I 45 south feeder is only fifty feet from the shoulder entrance to the freeway. So i suspect he first clocked me at sixty. My radar went off and I didnt even slow down because I was entering the freeway and trying to match the flow of traffic i never thought a cop would pull you over for entering the freeway at 68. Basicly i am pissed and want to annoy the cop for being a dick. If i am speeding on the highway or around town i am fine with getting a ticket but i was accelerating onto the freeway. I would fight it myself as i think i have a pretty reasonable story but Webster cops and courts are known for being dicks so i figure if a lawyer isnt pricey i will let him deal with it.
Bad Dogg 06-01-2004, 09:55 PM Chris Gore, firm name Villasanna and Gore. Only 75 bux - he will get you off!
Tell em Howard sent you

What areas can he cover? We've got way too many ticket vendors between Northwest Houston to Galveston: DPS, Harris County Sheriffs, various Constables, Jersey Village, Metro wanna B's, HPD, Webster, etc.. Dickenson, Galveston, LaMarque, etc.

He only does harris county courts.
Hey_its_Cole 06-02-2004, 02:34 AM webster gave me the ticket. This is my fourth ticket total. not in one year. Only one is on my record. So many people to choose. I will prolyy go with the sprecher guy as he seems highly recomended. Webster is in Harris county right. I know are constables have jurisdiction there and the station is in Harris
A long time ago, Sprecher, Lance Smith, and Elija all had an office together. There was a divorce, and the practice was split to protect it from the (ex)wife. They all know each other, and everyone else! I use Lance, and have since the early 80's. Call them, and they may recommend someone for a small town they do not cover. Lance has referred my out dozens of times.
Big_Hitter 06-02-2004, 10:06 PM dang, how old are you anyway?

My first ticket with Lance was at 15... Ooops... :D It was about 82...
scoutdickens 12-06-2007, 03:04 PM i say no re: markowitz. he is currently fighting a ticket for me. he doesn't, he sends someone. basically my cop showed and so he said - what do you want to do? deferred abjudication or defensive driving? i was like, "no" i don't want this on my record. i wasn't speeding. he said, ok, then we will request a trial by jury, but they only hear 1 case a day and yours isn't that important so we will keep rescheduling but it means sitting in traffic court time and again. heck - i could have asked for that crap on my own. my next day in court is next month so i will report back on the outcome. right now i am not all that happy. if he does get me off, then i will let you know.
glilly 12-06-2007, 03:16 PM maybe you can go back 3 years in a Delorean and tell him.
...and read post #8 for info on Houston's #1 traffic attorney. ;)
sc0013z 12-06-2007, 03:35 PM WOW old thread bumpage
MMWRX 03-10-2009, 11:23 AM Sorry to revive an OOOOLD thread but I just got a ticket on my way to work and was wondering how many of you have actually gotten off free and clear with Sprecher or whomever else you use. I am probably going to visit Sprecher later today to talk to him about my ticket, I don't want to waste my time with DD and I can't have deferred without DD since I'm not 25.
Thanks Guys
noobsauce 03-10-2009, 12:03 PM Make sure you get a lawyer or you'll lose the case :(
ExchangeGuy 03-10-2009, 12:07 PM I didnt think I would win mine last year for no licence and no insurance...but I did. Sprecher for president! :D:taco: The prosecuting cops were dumbfounded!

They dont call you noobsauce for nothing huh? HAHA jk man, I am I just wanted some feedback from the community cause the ticket as it stands is $195 and DD is $110+cost of course so im trying to spend as little as possible while maintaining a clean record.

Sweet, thats what I like to hear. I dont mind getting tickets and i even dont mind paying them, but if the cop is a dick (like he was this time around) I prefer to see them dumbfounded and sad when i walk out that courtroom.
Thanks:taco: (BTW, I have no clue WTF this thing is supposed to be but I like it)
noobsauce 03-10-2009, 12:26 PM I remember going to court and while I was waiting for my turn to see the judge, another guy came in for a DWI case. The judge asked the cop why he had convicted him for DWI and the cop said it was because he ran stop sign and his eyes were red. The judge asked the cop to look at the guy and asked him if his eyes were red again. The cop said "yes". The judged told the cop "son, stop wasting my time with your BS tickets. Case dismissed". Everyone in the court laughed at the cop.. :D

Hahahahaha, I did that to a cop in Pasadena once, he was a rookie and the judge lived right by where i got the ticket. the cop described the road ALL WRONG when we were both done the judge just looked at him, looked at me and without hesitation and with this huge smile on him face said case dismissed, the cop was standing there with his arms crossed looking down at the ground, it was a good feeling.

That's only because I had three charges against me. Regular traffic tickets are usually $100.
