View Full Version : Dale Teague - Boxer4Racing.com (merged thread)
Warp3 08-15-2001, 01:09 PM Great service, very knowledgeable about Subarus, answers emails more quickly than many other vendors I've dealt with, gets FWD Automatic Legacies more sideways than I thought physically possible
http://www.teaguesauto.com or http://www.boxer4racing.com
Teagues rocks! They've helped me get a few "obscure" parts that the dealers could not help me with. Always willing to answer questions and give advice. Quick e-mail replies, keeps you posted on the progress of your order, fair prices, all-in-all just great customer service. I even stopped by their shop while traveling through NC a few months back...Dale gave me a shop tour, pulled some parts off a parts car for me, and had a great conversation about Scoobies...plus the roads up there kick ass! :D
jetfire67 08-15-2001, 03:18 PM i ordered from Dale quite awhile ago...his service is excellent!! great communication in reference to the status of your order. guy knew his Subaru stuff too!! 2 thumbs up!!!
Dale Teagues rocks!
I've ordered a few parts from him over the phone, he's never had a problem sitting on the phone and answering any and all questions I could throw at him.
I got the parts quickly and cleanly.
I just wish he was on the board still... seems to have faded away.
He is still on the board. Just not very often like you said. He hangs out on the Southeast forum when he does post. You guys should lobby him to get online more, I'm sure he would like that :D
-But yeah, Dale does a good job!!
jagcars26 08-16-2001, 11:46 AM Dale rocks!! When i was a newbie,he patiently and inteligently answered the many questions that i had.He coulda taken me to the cleaners if he wanted("nah you dont want that yet")but he didnt.Sales , service, and delivery all 1st rate.
Sure wish i lived in North Carolina.:(
Rudy
SubyPrez20 08-16-2001, 01:42 PM Helped me out when all was lost and I was facing a $4000+ dollar tranny replacement bill. Teague's Auto hooked me up with a slightly used tranny, and got it to me ASAP. Great guy, great place, great service.

Dale is absolutely First Class!
Cacophony 08-17-2001, 07:47 AM Dale is the man. Wouldn't hesitate to order from him again :)
HRE | giulio 08-21-2001, 08:20 AM Dale Teagues is awesome and deserves some praise. I've bought quite a few things from Teagues and have absolutely nothing but good things to say.
He was helpful, knowledgeable and prompt.
One time (not at band camp) I thought I broke my instrument cluster. I was ready to order a new one from him. But being the honest man he is, he showed me how to fix it. I tried it and i couldnt do it. So i called again the next day asking to order it. He just encouraged me more and wouldn't ya know it... I was able to fix it and save a nice chunk of change!
Thank you Teague's Auto!
giulio
Boxer4Racing 08-27-2001, 06:16 AM Just wanted to say thank you for all the kind words.

suby ej25 08-31-2001, 06:52 PM i haven't done any business with dale yet....but from the looks of how quickly he responds to email(he replied within a few hours)....dealing with him will be a pleasure
bedabi 10-16-2001, 04:24 PM Get this. I called Teague just to get some info about whether a Stromung intermediate pipe would join up with a Supersprint muffler. I'd been thinking about a Stromung before, but my heart was set on a Supersprint.
But talking with Dale was so informative and pleasurable that I simply decided that this was THE guy to do business with, especially after reading about him right here in this thread. So right away, I ordered a dual tip Stromung muffler and an intermediate pipe.
For me, no BS straight talk will sell me everytime.
Arnie 10-27-2001, 11:01 PM Just checked out Teagues' site after not seeing it for ages and boy have they increased their inventory. Prices seem okay/average. But they have Cusco, Hot Bits, MRT, Whiteline, CWest, Zero Sports, Prodrive, OZ, BBS and STi, of course, for the WRX and RS. Definitely worth a look if you haven't been there for awhile. They even have a used Ej20T motor for $2200!
http://home.att.net/~teaguesauto/index.htm
Take a look.
Peaty 10-29-2001, 12:09 AM Dale is a good guy. He really knows his Scooby stuff too that's for sure.
djerickd 10-29-2001, 12:16 AM I've been talkin with Dale over e-mail and he is very helpful! I can't wait till he gets the parts I want in stock! I like their website also.
Boxer4Racing 10-29-2001, 05:55 PM Thanks guys! I have no where near all the stuff listed on the web site but I am working on it.
Keep checking back :)

djerickd 10-31-2001, 08:45 AM Dale just called me! :D He's very friendly. Thanks Dale!
Imprezed_Driver 10-31-2001, 06:55 PM yeah, Dale is a cool guy... just don't try to find his shop if you aren't familiar with the area, you will get lost for sure ...lol. Great service and products. Oh and Dale.. if one morning you find that EJ22T you've got packed away missing from the garage... it wasn't me ;)
Later,
Jason
GregBolby 11-03-2001, 08:23 PM Hey i found it!:)
Dale is the man!

Greg
www.jdmracing.com check that out(coming soon):D
Dale is the man!!! He is great and helps out no matter what. Thanks Dale for being who you are :), your friend Greg up north! now gimme a faster RS!!! :)
dead-eye 11-15-2001, 12:22 AM Nothing but excellent customer service from Dale. Unlike other vendors, once I place my order with him, I don't even worry about it. My only gripe . . . more Cusco!
bsquare 11-16-2001, 09:38 PM I've bought from Dale for as long as I've had my Subaru and without fail he has met all his promises and delivered on time. I wouldn't hesitate to call on him again or recommend him to others.
Keep it up, Dale!
Ben
PaulRex 11-19-2001, 03:32 PM I ordered some clear side marker lights for my WRX from Dale after finding Teagues Auto while surfing on the Internet. He explaned how to install them and even how to modify the light bulb housing if i needed to.. very good service. I will look there first next time i need somethng for my car
neurotic 11-19-2001, 08:49 PM I ordered clear side makers for my rex from Dale as well, excellent service.
Thanks Dale!
ZEROWRX 12-22-2001, 09:38 AM Dale's da man. I highly recommend doing dealing with him:cool:
mdntridr 01-07-2002, 10:30 AM I just ordered a set of GDA front and GC8 rear STi strut top mounts for my DMS Golds. No one has them in stock, and Teague's was the last place I called. Without naming the other vendors I called, Teague's was the only place that offered to order them special from the UK for me. Of course they couldn't promise me that I'll have them by this weekend like I'm hoping, but they went far beyond what I had expected.
Many thanks to Teague's Auto (http://www.teaguesauto.com) for all their help. They will definitely get my business again.
--Greg--
Nothing different. Teagues is truely first class. Dale is very "customer friendly" and seems excited to talk Sube stuff with the customers, where as some other vendors just sound like you are bothering them.
Just ordered a downpipe from him and although he didn't have them in stock, he said I should have mine by the end of this week...I got it today(Monday)!!! Well done.
DoorKnob 01-29-2002, 05:17 AM I e-mailed him about a part about a week ago and never got reply. Heck, I even used the parts request form on his site... still nothing.
Boxer4Racing 02-06-2002, 01:11 PM DoorKnob,
Be sure if you do not receive a response from me and it is during the week to resend the email. Email is not very reliable and some times they do not make it in. There could be server problems or a email I respond to that the return address comes back invalid. I don't have time to track all of the lost emails or invalid address. But I do my best to answer them all.
I will be glad to help you just send me another email :)
Dale Teague (Teague's Auto)
www.teaguesauto.com For all your SUBARU needs.
8Complex 02-06-2002, 02:21 PM For the record, Dale is one of the nicest guys in the Subaru vendor community. His service when I ordered from him was nothing but top-notch, as well.
bensonwrx 02-08-2002, 07:46 PM Dale is among one of the coolest vendors, and also very prompt on delivery of the products that's paid. I ordered a 99 leather shift boot and a JDM rear spats from Dale, and within a week they were here. I actually called him then emailed him my CC info, and he was kinda funny too during our chat (forgot what he said).
Yeah maybe you will find better price somewhere else, but you may not get all the promises Dale will delivery, including the tech support if you asked me :)
So here's my thanks to you Dale, and hey...I may need to ask you something about turbocharing my baby...so expect my email.
-Benson (Another MY98 Owner)
dead-eye 02-11-2002, 09:50 PM Dale is one of 2 vendors (the other is sugar) that I don't worry about when ordering. Once he says the order is processed, that's it. No worries. Ever. The longest it ever took him to fill an order was 7 days. The little extra he charges is worth the excellent customer support and rapport.
virpacalis 12-13-2002, 06:34 PM A great vendor. Prompt, nice and top quality. From lowly exhaust hangers to a new fuel pump that's exactly as advertised, a very refreshing experience.
hairband 12-13-2002, 10:59 PM I have to also jump in and comment on what a great guy Dale is.
I have ordered several parts from him with nothing but impecable service and information. But above all, this guy knows what he is doing when it comes to subarus. His father started working on Subarus around 1975 til present date. So Dale has been exposed to the subaru scene for the last 28 years.
I recently decided to do some engine and brake mods. I wanted to put on: vf 29 turbo, uppipe, downpipe, sti injectors, larger fuel pump, colder sprark plugs, grounding kit, utec, and topped it off with the perrin/wilwood front and rear brake kit. After talking to dale, I knew he was the man to go with. Also, another clincher on my decison was in either novembers or decembers issue of I believe it was Import Tuner magazine, there was a four page feature on a heavily modded WRX that was performed By Dale for a customer. I called him up, set up a time to drop car off and boom, he was done in a couple of days. He did a fantastic job and the car runs great. I would highly recommend any newbie with any question to give him a call. The great thing is, when you call his shop you will always get to talk to the owner, Dale. No middle man to relay the message to. Sorry for the long praise, but I am very much a layman when it comes to mechanics and Dale was able to explain and show me everything that would happen in my cars transformation.
Thanks, Dale
Rob Whitney
cooter 02-23-2003, 05:54 PM Glad I sifted through the old posts to find this one....much better than starting a whole new one I think
Anyways, thought I'd share my Teague's Auto experience with ya's. In short, Dale's the man, and his dad's pretty cool too :D
I had my vishnu stage zero installed there, and then later went to stage 1, also installed there, just this last Friday even. His labor prices are fair, and you KNOW the job is being done right. These guy's have been doing Subaru's since 1975, long before a lot of the familiar vendor's have been selling stuff for Subaru's.
Also, I went from the unichip setup to the ECUtek setup. Here lately, Vishnu's had a shortage of ECU's for reflashing....but, Dale was able to get a hold of one from another customer of his, saving me from waiting weeks for one from Vishnu.
And for all you guys who live far away, sucks to be you! My parents live less than 45 minutes away. And my parents just think I'm visiting them because I miss them....
So yeah, I highly recommend Teague's Auto, just like everyone else in this thread.
--coot
PS: Dale, if you're reading this...the hangers and bolts were down at the bottom of the packing peanuts....grrr.
Boxer4Racing 03-12-2003, 02:43 PM Thank you to everyone for all the compliments and business.
We have a lot of new things in the works. So keep checking the web site.

nhluhr 07-29-2003, 11:55 PM I've placed several orders with Teague's Auto and Dale always comes through with a reasonable price, same day shipping (if I order early enough), and good quality advice from a guy who's been doing subaru since before the USDM WRX.
I've heard that if you mention Tom Hoppe (the nationally successful autocross driver he sponsors) you will get a special deal ;). Actually, Tom told me this and it's true :).
-Nick
ImprezzvRS 07-30-2003, 02:43 AM Havn't had a prob with these guys, just mainly backordered blinker lights, but thats out of their control, speedy delivery and good prices. I'd recommend them
Rob
Laxin_Rexin 11-06-2003, 05:51 PM When my car was rear ended Dale was responsible for fixing my exhaust. The exhaust was damaged all the way to the downpipe and Dale was going to put on a cat back system. He later discovered that the downpipe and 3rd cat pipe were both damaged and the new exhaust would not fit the car. He went WAY out of his way to get the system mounted and fitted where it would not make so much noise from the damaged downpipe and such..... Highly recomend....
Also gave me great deals on lots of other stuff this past year, and alot of good adive for a new subaur driver
1wickedwrx 11-06-2003, 06:41 PM Thanks Nick for the tip!
I've ordered parts through Teagues Auto before. Good prices and excellent service. I am always impressed with their product knowledge and assistance!

Quick service and ready to help.
SOLUTION 01-11-2004, 07:44 PM I have ordered twice from Teague's Auto (www.boxer4racing.com) and have had great service both times. Product ships out quick.
silverscooby 01-12-2004, 04:39 PM I'd like to chime in here as well and give Dale a big thumbs up. Not only does he deliver on his promises as far as product availability and shipping dates but he does awesome install work as well.
Anyone who needs parts or installation needs to call Dale before making a decision!
memphisjames 01-16-2004, 10:49 AM I just completed my first two orders with Boxer4Racing.com (Teague's). Dale was very helpful on the phone, and knowledgeable about the products. Highly recommended. :D

3 THUMBS UP for BOXER4RACING (teagues auto).....!!!!!!!!!:
Rexxxx 02-26-2004, 09:13 AM Here's one more.
I ordered the new Stromung downpipe from Dale as soon as they came out. I happened to get one of the few early ones that had an issue with the wastegate tube rubbing against the frame. (This has been resolved by the way, Stromung now has a safeguard on the jig they use to prevent this.)
To compound things, I sent the pipe off to Swaintech to be thermal coated as soon as I received it. Once it was already coated, I did a test fit and realized that it doesn't fit. Lesson learned.
So, before I start griping on a public forum I called Dale and told him about the problem. He worked with Scott at Stromung to replace the pipe with a ceramic-coated version that Stromung sells. I’m not sure if Dale or Stromung ate the cost of the coating, but I got taken care of. This was resolved in a matter of 2 days as well, no runaround.
I thought I was S.O.L. with the coating for sure.
Kudos to Dale, I’m definitely impressed.
Tizzle 03-04-2004, 09:33 PM I love Teagues auto. I have bought from them probably 4 times, and they will continue to get my business.
deadbolt 06-01-2004, 12:01 PM All I can say is
My car is back together with an EJ257 (STi shortblock) nestled under the hood now. Boxer4racing.com did the build with some bits and pieces from me including the custom Deadbolt 18G turbo designed to fit under a top mount intercooler.
After hearing horror stories from people about doing the EJ257 swap and having idle problems as well as hearing problems with people who used the modified stock injectors I was expecting us to have a REALLY hard time getting the car running since I was using both.
Dale plugged into the Utec, flashed it to the newest version of the software, uploaded the map, scaled the injectors and hit the key. The car boomed to life after less than a complete rotation of the engine and sat there idling. A little lumpy due to the TGV's being removed and the housings ported, but the minute it got warm it idled like a standard WRX.
I drove the car practically non-stop (very easy) for two days to get 1000 miles on it so that we could road tune it.
Dale put the wideband on it, hooked up the laptop and away we went. It didn't take us long at all until we had the car pulling VERY VERY VERY hard at a pretty conservative 10.5:1 AFR at only 15 PSI. I want to drive the car in this condition for at least 3000 miles or so before we up the boost again to 17PSI, but I will DEFINATELY have boxer4racing do the road tune on it again!
VERY PLEASED CUSTOMER!
Flat4inRC 06-03-2004, 01:29 PM yeah for real, i would agree with Deadbolt
Dale is a good dude! I always go with him first since hes local. If he dont have it, which is a rarity, then I go with someone else.
3 Thumbs up for Boxer4Racing.com :D
obsidianSTI 06-04-2004, 05:02 PM I always drive to teagues to get any work done. I would trust my life with dale and his dad.
another thumbs up for boxer 4 racing.
enewtabie 06-04-2004, 05:10 PM I wish I had four hands so I could give Dale four thumbs up..great vendor..always get my stuff fast...

How about updating the post, I actually mentioned this to Dale and he said he spoke with you this week regarding the clutch and had told you that all the parts had not been received.

Track Assassin 07-26-2004, 10:41 PM what kind of idling problems do people get when they swap the ej257 in? me and my friend just did a ej257 short block swap to my GC8 and so far it has problbly about 400 miles and the idle sounds really healthy.
G.Subramaniam 09-03-2004, 10:45 PM I had good service from Dale on buying suspension parts
He guided me through the various options and if some parts were not available he informed me so that I could look elsewhere
mw1029h 10-08-2004, 04:28 AM I live in Los angeles Ca. I order my parts from Dale good dude and when he has the time excellent source of performance info oh yeah good prices :D
Rebellion 10-08-2004, 11:57 AM bump for Dale... If I had more money, he'd be my daddy too.
Randoramma 03-12-2005, 12:05 PM I recently made a purhase from boxer4racing.com and although it took a while to recieve (darn h6 caliper brackets!) I am very pleased to say they kept me informed during the whole process. I received several phone calls updating me on their progress, and parts were shipped as soon as possible, without unnecessary delays. When I recieved the parts I was pleased to see they were packaged quite well and I recieved exactly what I ordered (its not often you get what you see in the "picture"). Very professional for an online operation. Very happy costumer here will do business again!

BLACK02WAGON 06-21-2005, 09:35 AM I recently posted in SE forum about my and my friend's displeasure at our dealings with Dale Teague. After much name calling :( and childish behavior :( in SE, I was accused of making it all up because I had not posted in Vendor Review forums. Well here is my post. I will link the threads from the SE forum and let them speak for themselves:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=783805
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=792633
In the end I will say again, this is just my and my friend's experiences with Dale and I know many have had positive experiences with him but I just want all buyers to be informed and to know what others have experienced.
What a crappy way to get my 555th post
GeorgeRex 06-23-2005, 04:11 PM Thanks for wasting our time with your post BLACK02WAGON. Grow up !
IronMonkeyL255 06-23-2005, 04:21 PM I just love how he's still arguing that Dale is a bad man, even after his friend that had the problem chimed in and explained the situation, and how Dale is a good guy.
cooter 06-25-2005, 01:19 AM I've had nothing but good experiences with Teague's Auto. Stupid thread :o
Templar 06-25-2005, 09:52 AM Moderators, could you please move this to the Boxer4racing review thread at the least?
Of course, since this guy is posting SOMEONE ELSES problems, and the person who had those problems later posted and told the truth about the events that happened, perhaps the thread should just be deleted.
BadTrip 06-27-2005, 03:30 PM Nine thumb's up for Boxer-4!
I've just recently had a round of upgrades done and am quite pleased with the results.
Of specific interest was the fact that I went to GP Moto equal-length headers. When the headers arrived they didn't fit properly. Dale explained the situation to me, explained what he was doing to provide a solution and gave me info on options in case I was unable to adjust my timeline to accept this change in schedule. The replacement set of headers came in and Dale had them on and had things wrapped up nicely.
Dale also spoke with me on numerous occassions and was willing to try to make arrangements which were acceptable to both of us with respect to schedule flexibility, and also offered some professional opinions and advice regarding a couple decisions I needed to make. He was happy to have me spend lots and lots of money with him......OR he was happy to offer advice and let me go about things in other ways as I saw fit.
Dale was open and honest at all times and I would not hesitate to contract for future upgrades via Boxer-4-Racing.
Dale, if you see this post.....THANKS! :disco:

deegan42 08-04-2005, 11:45 PM Ok, i started that thread a while back asking questions about boxer4racing. I just drove 30 minutes out there to get some whiteline products. Dale Teague is an awesome guy. I had met him before at the hscc autoxs but this was my first time doing business with him. The facility was superb and i will definatly be getting some work done there in the future. Even the roads out in BFE where the shop is are fun to drive. I almost didnt mind getting bad directions. I am just very happy that there is a subaru specific shop around my area.
Ryan
bmxpunk 11-17-2005, 04:29 AM Hey I am bumping this for a great company!!!!!!
Dale was so helpful when I was doing my swapp. I called him to get gaskets and such becasue I would rather give him business than my local dealer.
Thanks dale!!!! and when I swap heads and rewire my car as a wrx, I am gettin a hydra from you.
automatic1977 11-21-2005, 01:15 PM Dale did an uppipe/downpipe install for me on Friday. I couldn't have been more happy with the service and installation. The shop was a little hard to find, but then again I had terrible mapquest directions. Any future mods will definitely be done by Dale and Boxer4. Thanks Dale!
boxerboy 11-24-2005, 07:02 AM Dale is the go to guy on subaru. I will always start with him and 99% of the time he finds the answer. He will work hard to find out if he does not know. Most of my car parts I buy from Teaques and I don't shop price very often. Service is most important. The only guy I will leave my car with is Dale.
Mechkiller31st 12-21-2005, 02:40 PM I dont know if this is the right forum or not to post this but I wanted everyone to know that back on Friday the 15th I ordered 4 KYB GR-2 Struts from them. They told me it would be 8 to 10 days before I would get them. Well its Wed. the 21st and guess what... UPS dropped off 4 boxes for me:banana: SO I just wanted to everyone to know that these guys buested their Arses to get them here quick. and thanks. .... now to find someone to install them:devil:
serious_awesomeness 12-21-2005, 02:45 PM boxer4racing for t3h win!!!!!

lol
:+)
BadTrip 12-21-2005, 02:51 PM I'm located about 3hrs form them and had them do some work for me a while back. They were first rate and I'd not hesitate to work with them again.
Dale be knowin' 'da roo.
I knew I was in the right place when I rolled up and saw about five Subbies in the lot.....two STis, an obviously moded WRX, and a suspiciously sleepy looking LGT..........and just inside the garage doors I could see a boxer engine haning on a stand.
"Yeah....this is the right place I", I said to myself.
One week and an undisclosed amount of money later, and my WRX, still untuned, is pulling 4.6V on the MAF. Nice. Very nice.
+1 for Boxer4
Uncle Scotty 12-21-2005, 04:32 PM I have dealt with Dale on several occasions and would not hesitate to do so agan, no doubt.
neon_ice 12-21-2005, 04:50 PM im glad to hear this, ive been thinking about buying some stuff from them.
Turn in Concepts 12-21-2005, 05:01 PM Dale is top notch. If you've never dealt with him do yourself a favor and do so.
iownaspec 12-21-2005, 05:06 PM woot local for the win. ohh and before they retired the boxer4 rs it dominated auto x circuits. anyways good luck with the part and dale is the man!
VIR EURORALLY 12-21-2005, 05:20 PM Dale is very knowledgeable and first rate with his work. He did a few things for my STi as well as tuned it for the pump gas. When I have ordered from him in the past, between talking to Dale and Patrick things went very smoothly. The orders were also shipped to go above all expectations. For those of you that haven't seen his shop or work, do treat yourself to Boxer4. It was the cleanest specialty shop for aftemarket parts/tuning that I have ever been in.
Pete Holt 12-21-2005, 05:23 PM I agree. I have worked with Dale Teague for many years and his service and knowledge is awesome! :D

DMS North America 03-01-2006, 09:24 AM It has been a long time since I have spoken with Dale. It is great to see that he is doing well and has a great following. Definatly a shop I would recommend to deal with as well !

ScoobyDoobieBlue 04-20-2006, 01:03 PM Boxer is a really nice place to deal with, at first i wanted STI tarmac springs 4-6 week wait no way, whitelines were a 4 week, no thanks. They hooked me up with some nice H&R springs. I woulda waited for the other springs but one of my eibachs snapped and i need my car. I called patrick about once a day for 3 days and he was always helpfull and courteous.
jalesi 05-07-2006, 07:45 PM We always work as hard as we can to find a solution for your problems, especially when the car is down. We appreciate your patronage and look forward to talking with you again! Thanks again!

John*G 11-03-2006, 09:28 AM I have been buying from Dale for about 4-5 years. He has always been great to do business with. Just received a good sized order the other day. I was kept up to date via several E Mails on its status.
Regards John
Turn in Concepts 11-03-2006, 10:15 AM It's been a while since I posted kudos for Dale and crew so I guess it's time again.
we have a very select few shops that we talk to for advice, and getting stuff we don't carry. When it comes to those situations Boxer4 is always one of the places we call. If Boxer4 is not in your top 5 of places to call when you need somethine then you seriously need to rethink your list of places to call.
05GrayWRX 12-01-2006, 05:03 PM Just wanted to thank Dale and Patrick at Boxer4Racing for the Cobb Stage 2 work they did for me on Thursday. Everything went very smoothly from my initial call to Patrick and his advice on parts all the way through to the install work. VIR EURORALLY, SilverBullet2.5RS, and I all enjoyed the visit to the shop. :D
jalesi 12-04-2006, 02:30 PM You are more than welcome! We always enjoy visits from our customers and are equally glad that you are enjoying the car!

Phatzilla18 02-21-2008, 01:54 PM I placed my second order with Dale at Boxer4Racing on the 19th and my order came in the mail today. I wouldn't hesitate one minute to order through them again. Thanks Dale for the friendly customer service and the quick shipping!
metroscub 02-23-2008, 02:13 PM I am in Iraq, and my parent slive in coastal NC, so they had to make a trip to the shop, Dale was nice enough to meet them at 9pm on a friday to ensure that my car was safely stowed in their fence, and he also gave my parents a tour of the shop. I have talked to him minamally by email, but I feel as they are doing my build over the next months, I will be nothing but pleased, he is about quality it seems, not quantity. I lok forward to the coming months to see what he can do for my ride.
CSS Performance 02-23-2008, 02:18 PM I have dealt with Dale for years and have nothing but good things to say.
leafs fan 03-07-2008, 03:50 AM Awesome, awesome people. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Calling in orders is something I am not use to but these guys know their stuff. Fast reply's with e-mails, fast shipping and unlike rallitek their products were packaged really well. Even after the product was shipped and received they still care about your business with fast replys to my e-mails. Will definatly do business with them again.
kevinblahh 05-02-2008, 02:08 PM I was wondering if anyone knows if boxer4racing sends out tracking numbers with there orders. Its been 11 days since I sent my money for my catback, and I havent gotten a tracking number. I've sent emails, and left a phone message, and havent gotten answers. Also I've called a few times today and yesterday and no one picks up. Anyone have any idea what the issue could be?
Soobie2.5i 05-02-2008, 02:18 PM Hmm ... idk man ... the only thing i've bought from them was a MAF adapter. The guy was very good on the phone ... i had the piece within a few days. had no problems. Keep calling em. get angry ... maybe they'll throw u a free goodie!!!
kevinblahh 05-02-2008, 03:15 PM i dont understand ive called like 9999 times and they dont pick up
subaru3169 05-02-2008, 04:06 PM what's their number?? have us call 'em lol

GreasyJoe 05-02-2008, 09:32 PM Maybe they're all doing the One Lap of America and there's no one there to answer the phone. See their web page.

good call that might be it.
zillaz 05-02-2008, 11:44 PM I ordered speed bleeders from them, they're great. I had a great experience with em. They even called to confirm the size, instead of just shipping out the standard. Onelap drivers started leaving about 9:30 this morning if I recall. If you ordered an item they dont stock, or that is made on the fly (like a high-flow catalytic converter) it takes a while to get it made, then shipped to them, then shipped out to you.
leafs fan 05-03-2008, 04:37 AM I ordered headers and cat and they are the best company I have ever purchased anything online from. Quick e-mail responses and very polite on the phone. Also yes I did get a tracking number with both my orders. This seems odd coming from them.

i ordered a stromung catback, ive ordered from them before and didnt have any issues. This was just odd because i placed my order and last talked to someone on 4/21, and now its 5/3, and havent heard anything, and was told it would take up to 12 days, and todays the 12th.
zillaz 05-05-2008, 02:08 PM Any update? Did you ever get in touch with them?
CSS Performance 05-05-2008, 03:51 PM I know Dale personally and Hes def not doing this on purpose. His dyno is off premises and some days hes at the dyno all day. He should answer today if you call unless hes at a race or something. Overall hes a top notch guy!!!!

kevinblahh 05-05-2008, 07:24 PM So today they finally got in touch with me. It's pretty nice to know that, I paid them 14 days ago, and today I find out that only the axle back is ready, and that I have to wait another "2-4 weeks best case scenario" for the mid pipe, not to mention I still didn't get a tracking number today. Now it might just be me, but how is it that the axleback was done before the mid pipe. I honestly think this whole situation is ****ed.
zillaz 05-05-2008, 07:43 PM If it makes you feel any better, my shipment was 3 (5-6 weeks after I ordered it...) weeks late when I ordered a Stromung highflow, Midpipe, and single tipped axleback.. When it finally did arrive, they DIDNT even include the doughnut gasket that seals the midpipe to the highflow, or replacement bolts / springs to link them together! (I DID NOT order it from boxer4, but I'll be highly surprised if they send out your order without the basic parts needed to assemble it!) But be patient and endure, the sound is well worth it. I can tell you that is not indicitive of boxer4 usual response time, it must just be stromung is being slow as **** putting them out to their vendors. The reason mine was held up is because 'they ran out of cats'... If they weren't so damn awesome sounding, I bet they'd never survive on their turnout speed alone.

i ordered from them before and didnt have any problems, im just pissed really that for some reason its going to take 2-4 weeks best case scenario just to make the mid pipe..
legacy1907 05-05-2008, 10:32 PM the thing is they redistribute parts, so if you order stromung, and they dont have it, then they have to have it shipped from stromung....hence they delay. They are more likely to have the axleback than the midpipe since certain axlebacks fit multiple cars. I understand they should have kept you informed, but that would explain the delay. Goodluck getting this sorted out
Hites 06-10-2008, 02:32 PM Yeah, I know they have a good reputation, but for nearly 2 weeks now, they've been avoiding my emails and phone calls where I just want to check on the status of my order that I placed about a month ago. They have $912.24 of my hard-earned cash, so I'm not taking this lightly, but I don't want to have to contact PayPal to have them reverse my payment on them. Anybody know what Boxer4Racing is up to? Have they gone under? Have they turned into scammers? What's up? I'd like to know, especially to protect my fellow Subaronians.
btw, idc about stromungs problems about not being able to keep up their supply to meet their demand, because boxer4racings customer service is the issue, and its currently extremely appalling
jalesi 06-11-2008, 01:18 PM Jordan, when you placed the order I let you know that the production run on the exhaust you ordered would be completed around mid June. We have a string of emails that were responded to, and on Monday the 9th, we emailed you the tracking number. You may want to check your spam filters to see if they are deleting our emails. Here is your tracking number:

0BLUEWRX3 07-07-2008, 04:09 AM I've ordered a few things from Dale and never had a problem one. I'm less then 30 minutes from his shop so I tend to just run over there if I need something. Also, I've never called him, as I always email him or just talk in person but I've never had a problem with him not returning emails. Even with the One Lap going on he's gotten back to me in less then 24 hours.
metroscub 07-15-2008, 10:13 AM My car has been at their shop since february, they have been nice enough to hold it for me while working on it. I am currently in Iraq, and my parents place(where my car was the first three months of this deployment) is like four hours from them, we are currently waiting on PPG gears to finish my job up with them, but their customer service and email responses have always been quick and top notch, I have even gotten emails back from Dale or Patrick on saturdays and sundays! overall, I have to say that I am super pleased with them, PPG, not so much(gears take forever to get I guess). I would reccomend them to everyone on the right coast for sure!
