Not sure if this is the right forum, but here goes...

Would it be possible to do speedometer correction for taller/shorter wheel/tire packages with an ECU flash?

The reason I ask is because the STI's gears are so short already, it might actually be kinda nice to go to like a 245/45/17 tire. Granted, that tire wouldn't introduce much error in the first place, or make much difference in gearing, but the question still stands. :)

I don't think so.. the speedometer is actually controled by a gear in your gearbox (speedo gear) so I don't think an electronic correction is possible.
