I aplologize, in advance if this has been seen. But check out these pix of what the WRX was thought to look like. The fender character line has a touch of Focus about it but the bulldog stance is right on and the face is much better. Too bad. That 3/4 view of the black sedan is hot!

Still, what we are getting is better than no WRX at all.

Probably because too many ricers would have bought it. Now with the present design Subaru has forced the consumers to become real performance wanting Suby drivers.

That one's OK, but pretty generic. The one we got stands out with its own character.

Those headlights look better than the "bugeyes" IMHO. All of the spyshots that were filtering through here early last year showed a similar arrangement. Everyone was anticipating this, but then it changed to....."Oh My God, what have they done?" http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/tongue.gif

I like those lights a lil more, but I'm still getting one.

I like the nose in the pic. but it looks more like an up-class luxury car.
The bug eye look on the actual car looks younger and more dynamic. It'll draw attentions. (and pretty some bad comments too http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/biggrin.gif)

if thats what the car would have looked like i would have waited on tradin' in my civic for the RS and would have opted for that black 4 dr. that jus' looks sweet.

i was just thinking about Mercedes Benz. They have big round headlights. And everybody thinks they look okay. So, I guess the Suby is okay the way it is.

It looks like the mule's nose is much more like the current Impreza's with the front bumper/apron of the new rally car. Still, I can't wait for the WRX. The king is dead. Long live the King!
