yeah that car is NNAAAASSSTTTYYY. i was up there today for the event and i was in the staging lane behind it when that thing made its first run. the car was still sliding going into 3rd it looked like. and that was on 4 slicks

Yup.. at this rate they will be running 8s by Friday!

i think they ran 10s friday and 9's saturday their moving crazy fast. i thought it would be a month till they were in the 9's from there 10.5 or so runs not a couple weeks.

On evom.net he says that they are hitting 9000RPM in 4th gear by the finish.

"We had custom pistons made from ross.. We orderd about 5 sets in anticipation that we would build some race motors. We are using them in a customers car which will have our street turbo kit on the car. As far as our mods and our setup we're going to keep that under wraps for now .. We did have custom pistons and valves made. Porting work we did here ..and I did all the motor assembly. Cam gears are still set at 0 - 0. And we are using HKS 272's as of now.

Nope noticed how he hasnt posted lately? His car supposedly broke again sunday. I saw him make 1 run then his car dissapeared for the rest of the afternoon.

a few other things that I noticed while I was checking the car out were a custom intake manifold, electric water pump(dont know if they were running off of that but there was one in the aftermarket radiator) no power steering pump, and the turbo was fairly small, probably a forced performance creation. but whatever the parts are, they equal WOW. watching his first run from the staging lanes, if he would have been able to keep it staight it might have been a 9.90 or 9.8-, anyway I'm sure there will be more to come, oh yeah and Al did break on his first qualifing run, what let go i have no idea.
