I need some help here.
I am having some huge electrical problems.
Here is a synopsis: Elec door locks. They blow fuse when you try to unlock all doors, but is ok when you try to lock them
Combo meter- fuse keeps blowing.
Battery- not getting full charge. Volt meter reads 5.5
Ok so there is a 15 amp fuse in the cabin fuse box, I think it's fuse #18 in the glove box. Replaced it and the combo meter (subaru's name for the instrument cluster) came to life. This is Saturday.
So I tried to tackle the door lock fuse. After about 2 hours, I had to go so I gave up. Was going to drive to my GF house Monday night, Combo meter fuse blew as soon as I put car pressed the clutch and put car into gear. Made it to her house ok.
Drove it last night. Started ok. Combo meter still out. Gassed up and tried to start engine. It won't turn over. Pull out my volt meter and it says I am have 11 volts on the battery. Manage to have someone jump my car and I read the battery and it's now has 5.5 volts. Car is also misfiring like crazy. Limp the car home and there she sits.
So here is what I have NO COMBO METER, Alternator is not charging, and engine is misfiring. Can the lack of combo meter be messing up the computer?
