Just wondering if there is a way to turn the alarm beeper off & on. It has been working since I bought the car but I reset the ECU yesterday after my break-in period was done and noticed today that it's not beeping when I lock or unlock the doors. I didn't try it yesterday after I reset the ECU so I'm not sure if the problem is related or not; just wondering if there was a way to turn it on or off and if so when I reset the ECU could that have turned it off like it does with the programable **** light/buzzer. IF not then the beeper must be broken...where is it located? I could take it in to the dealer but I don't want to be without my ride for something so small...

I'm not sure about the 2005, but the 2004 has instructions for turning the alarm chirp on/off right on the back of the remote: Press the unlock button once, then press both buttons & hold for 2 seconds. I believe this information is in the owner's manual as well.

Uhhhh...I think I need to paint my STi yellow and call it the short yellow bus. Never bothered to read the back of my key fob; that worked. Beeper was turned off...thanks for the heads up!
