Mud Flaps
For a more "streetable" rally style mud flap consider Rally Armor mud flaps. Offering extreme protection from the dirt and grime that muck up your car's finish, RA flaps are excellent investments. They offer great coverage and display the Rally Armor logo on all four flaps. Slotted mounting points allow for varying degrees of adjustment based on your personal preference. All mounting hardware included. Invest now and reap the benefits later!

These are due out very shortly. We are taking pre-orders, shoot me a PM/E-mail for details on how to get in on the first shipment of them.

hopefully cheaper than the prodrive

According to the site: $89

A dang spiffy deal

Rapid_Roo

Heck at $89, that's way easier to swallow than the prodrive ones. Funny how they took a pick of a really clean flap on an already muddy car  should have done a with and wothout pic instead :)

...putting my name down on a set now. wonder if they have other logo colors or ones without logos. the red kinda clashes with my all silver theme.

Rally Armor is going to try to get some other colors made, however the red is moulded into the flaps so for now red will be the only available ones unless we get an overwhelming response for other color logos.

Pricing will be $99 shipped! We'll have a paypal site up for ordering shortly. :)

Mor pics tonight too.

Which direction do the slots run? In other words, is it adjustable in terms of width -- moving it sideways in and out, or in terms of height, moving it up/down for ground clearance.

I believe they are left-right so you can move them in and out as far as distance outside the fender well. I'll check on it and post back.

Ok folks here is an update. Rally Armor is working furiously to get em out to us. Those who pre-ordered have been contacted via e-mail about getting out the initial sets.

Here's what I got from Rally Armor on the holdup...

The logo stamp is what has been the hold up, the production schedule is PACKED at the hot stamper. The kits will include the stainless steel tamper resistant bolts, as well as molbedium disulfide bushings, and all the mounting hardware including the security bit for the bolts. They will be delivered to us at the end of next week.

Here is a screenshot of a bolt like the security ones included in this kit.

Hang in there folks, RallyArmor is coming through on these for us. I appologize for the delay.

If you want to raise the fronts a little without cutting the flap,

Try drilling holes right under the existing mounting holes on the flap, this should raise them up a bit without having to cut into the flap or just let em rub, I don't think they'll hurt them.

I've got a slight issue, maybe. My tires are now beginning to rub the front flaps. This only happens when I'm braking from 5 mph while turning left or right. This usually happens when I'm parking. When the wheel is full lock, it wont rub. Only when it's between full lock and when the wheel is straight. It's rubbing the upper middle section of the flap. What should I do? It's not very bad, but it annoys at times...especially when I park my car at meets.

could the most inner bolt (the one you have to push in) is not in enough? I got mine installed today and Ill check for rubbing.Unless you have a bigger or wider wheel than I have.

GC8-E36

The inner bolt is definitely in. I did some mudding today, and now it rubs without braking. It could just be some stuck mud, I'll have to take the flaps off and hose them down. BTW, I have a 2000 RS with BBS STi rims with 225/45 Toyo T1-S tires.

I'm not sure if these were fitted on an '05 STi, but man was it complicated. I had to take my sideskirts off partially on the front side so I can put the clips that came with the flaps.

All in all though, it was worth the full hour install.

aarrghhhh... I wish I've known that there were instructions on your website!

Now I'll have to check if I installed them right. :(

Update:

Just read the instructions. I did everything right! Whew!
However, I had to use the long clip on the front side (#3 hole).

I had it in the rear at first then I had to move it to the front because the shorter clips would not align with the #3 hole. The shorter clips worked for my rears.

This is on an '05 STi by the way if someone has the same problem.

I got mine on and all I have to say is that they are great! Put them oin with no issues, and they have within a week been through, mud, dirt, gravel, and 120 mph (not all at the same time),. with no problems at all! Thanks guys!

For the skid plate, how much clearance is there between the oil filter and the plate? I am getting gauges and I need to fit an adapter between the filter and mounting point. I am concerned that the filter will protrude too much and prevent the plate from attaching securely.

Thanks.

Anyone know if the rallyarmor mudflaps work with the rear OEM kit for 02-03 WRXs?

Yes they will work, they bolt into the fenderwell.

AZP,

Do you still have some non-logo sets available? I only saw mention of mid-november on your website. I'm hoping you may have a more solid date as to their arrival.

I'd like to order a set without the logos if possible.

Unfortunately there will not be any more non-logoed flaps. I've gotten RA to make up some black logoed ones where the logo is only embossed but not colored which are due in mid Nov.

Put mine on yesterday...easy install. I must say I was a little wary at first of what they might look like, but they look awesome :D I'll even probably keep them on once winter is over.

Best bet is to contact RA directly on their web page about a custom plate http://RallyArmor.com just let them know you'd like to order through us and we'll get the correct plate for yah.

So the odds of getting a set of the black/black flaps in my hands before our 11/28 rallycross is pretty slim then huh. Rats.

I really don't want the blue versions, I could tolerate red, but would prefer black or white logos.

Rats. I guess I'll have to make a decision soon if I want to get them in time.

Yup just spoke to RA yesterday still at least 2 weeks for them to get the black/black or red/black ones in their hands. So my guess is not in our hands for 3 weeks.

1 set of blue/black left as of today with a guy from alaska who inquired on a shipping price yesterday for them.
