I got my Exedy Sports Clutch & Lightened Flywheel on order and I was reading about alot of people getting CEL with the Exedy Lightened Flywheel.
Does anyone have the Exedy Sports Clutch & Lightened Flywheel Combo and doesn't get a CEL? Or is there a fix I can't find?
Thanks

I had the combo and got the CELs. It's the flywheel, not the clutch that is the cause.

I've had the combo and have had no issues. 12.5 lb. flywheel, right? It's the same as the STi one you can buy from the dealer so I don't think it should cause a problem.

Why would Sir_Xenon's car be fine while others get CEL's? I just don't want to get everything back together and then get a CEL that I can't get rid of.

I just looked up the STI Lightened flywheel and its actually Lighter that the Exedy by 0.7lbs
STI Lightweight Fly Wheel (5MT). 12.1lbs lightened vs stock 23.10 lbs. Machined from Chromium/Molybdenum. Reducing rotational mass allows for faster engine revs. Recommended use with Sti clutch cover and disc.
Exeddy Flywheels from Japan go perfect with the MRT/Exeddy clutches. Weight only 5.8 KG (12.8bs, this billet flywheel will produce some needed horsepower for you.
So what should I do if I don't want a CEL? Lightened Flywheel or Stock Flywheel?
