Hello,
Only about last week I informed you guys that my little EJ22 was detonating. Anyhow I've put in 94 octane! Yikes! 94! Where no Scooby of mine has gone before! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/eek.gif anyhow the detonation's gone. But hesitation came! Now correct me if I am wrong but how in tarnation can 94octane create knock?! AFAIK the Scooby ecu retards the timing due to knock thus causing hesitation off the line. But daggamit! 94 is pretty much the highest grade one can get in Canada's gas stations. Now what? autoX this sunday.... would hate it if the car bogs at every freakin' turn! http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/mad.gif Anyways I've just refilled it with 89 this morning and will reset the ecu tonight. <sigh> Think it's spark plugs?
