Several years ago there used to be this auto parts store near my house that used to sell this wax called "liquid glass" I think. Ring any bells? Anyone use this? A friend of mine used it years ago on his snowmobile and it looked great. I don't live near that auto parts store anymore, so i'm not sure if they still have it. Any recommendations for a good wax for the rex?

I use Klasse acrylic sealant..since they provide the hardest protection...and the shine is very good too..
I got it from:
www.properautocare.com (http://www.properautocare.com)
they have a very good selections and good customer service (no, I'm not paid by them, they should though) http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/wink.gif

I've had VERY good experiences with Liquid Glass. It is good stuff.. I swear by it. It's a little hard to put on - but once you build up a couple of layers of it on your car - the shine and protection lasts and lasts. (I'm talking for MONTHS and MONTHS!)
Good, Good Stuff...

What about this McGuire polish and wax? Its my first time using it and I'm not totally impress by the job. I've only applied one coat cause it started to sprinkle. Now I have to wash to car before applying more coats. Anyway, it costs $7 for the polish and $7 for the wax. However, it's easy to apply and remove though. One bottle will only last for 2 waxes of say 2-3 coats. I thought that was kinda cheap http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/smilies/smile.gif Opinions anyone? Will give the liquid glass a shot. Thanks.

you must be using too much...one bottle should last at least 20-30 double layer waxes..it's better to have several very thin layers instead of one thick layer, because you're only wasting your wax...
www.carcareonline.com (http://www.carcareonline.com)
also has a good selection

Its the polish I'm wasting a whole bunch on and it does seem to give a better shine. The sprinkle deterred me using the wax. Will have to polish and wax on a better day.
