I'd like any comments or feedback on anyone using an ACT clutch on their 2.2 Impreza L tranny.
Any other high performance clutch options available out there?
thanks

Aspen,
a friend of mine (wac is his screen name) has the ACT clutch in his '98 Outback Sport (2.2L). His clutch is not hydraulic like the '99 RS, it is cable operated, so it preforms different. He likes it.
He frequents the NESIC forum of this web-site, so post to him in there. He would love to answer your questions with more detail than I can give you.

Anyone else using the ACT clutch in there rides???
I ordered an ACT (4 puck) for the 2.2 and am also curious how people are liking it.

A 4-puck is harsh. If you're thinking of launching it quite a bit, start saving for a new transmission. Chances are even without launching you'd lose your tranny....puck-type clutches are HARSH on the drivetrain. -Geoff
