I'm changing out my tranny fluid and filter and noticed that the book says GL-5 for transmission fluid. Is this correct? Can I use Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF?

ATF is an automatic transmission fluid and is used only in the auto. GL5 is a gear oil specification and is used ONLY in the differentals and in a Manual transmission. Reread your owners manual more carefully.

The manual transmission section ends where the automatic begins. First thing on the page is specifications, which looks like it is for the automatic, but it is the ending of the manual transmission section. Thanks!
