You can buy denatured alcohol by the gallon for about $7.50
and yes Isopropyl works well (in the 91% variety)

I havn't used it in my WRX but it is generally used in boosted applications without incident. Allowing pump gas cars run boost levels that would normally require race gas.

If you want to run 26 psi on pump gas then I'd say go for it!

I use a 25% alcohol mix (windshield washer fluid). Others I know run a 50% alcohol mix, but windshiels washer fluid (the blue stuff), is cheap hehe.

you haven't heard of alchohol injection???You're kidding me...right??Dont knoe everything bout it, but it exists and a guy here in juneau, ak owns a white wrx which is alchohol injected and well modded believe me. He claims that his fuel set up is the only one like it in the world on a wrx. i'll post pics once i find some.

the wrx in there is the one im talkin bout. The other three cars are also alchohol injected, the only four in my lil town of juneau. a few more cars are getting alchohol injected too in this town. Just wondering if any of you are also, jus heard of it last year and learned about it.

How did you set up the system? (pump brand/model, nozzle size/placement, what brings it on (UTEC, hobbs device))

What kind of boost are you able to run on pump gas?

Maybe a view of your fuel/timing maps too for comparison for those without a clue about the benefits of injection.

BTW when you dismantle an engine that has had this running it is rather funny how clean the engine/intake is!

Hope you guys like. Hes done all the alchohol injection installs on all for cars himself. Did the one on the silver STi, the red SRT4 and the red Civic SI. His knowledge on cars is unquestionable. Haha you guys should see this guy on the road with the car cuz its hilarious cuz he drives the speed limit, calm, comfortable, relaxed...and the thing that makes me laugh and smile the most is that he is quite an aged man, enjoying a young ones dream-he drives smokin his pipe and its jus kodak moment everytime i see him haha:lol:
