Anyone knows how long it takes to get a new card? also, what is the procedure to take in the event ss card is lost? :(

WRXVII 07-09-2004, 12:42 AM Anyone knows how long it takes to get a new card? also, what is the procedure to take in the event ss card is lost? :( Jimmy S. 07-09-2004, 12:44 AM 2 weeks...I just did this when my wallet was stolen. You can go online, print out an application, fill it out and take it to your nearest SS office. Bring a drivers license/passport or something with a picture and stats on it so they know its you.
