I have had the HKS Hi-Power catback longer than the Helix DP, so I"ll start with the catback first...I'd have to say the Hi-Power catback has a well toned exhaust note. It's not too loud and not too quiet, it's just about right :) The JDM slant is awesome looking too...it gives it that true racer look. Next, the Helix DP which I had installed last week is so far the best thing that's happen to my car as far as gofast goodie. I feel almost no turbo lag, and it revs freely from idle all the way to redline. With the combo of the Hi-Power catback and Helix DP it's a beautiful sound. The nice boxer rumble incorporated with a sweet turbo whine. I have no complaints with my unique turbo-back and am truely happy.

Sweet, ive been trying to read as many reviews on this set up as I can. I currently have the Borla Hush, which is a nice quality piece and has a nice tone. However, it's pretty quiet and I like the look of the HKS JDM slant much better. I'm debating on making the switch. I was just worried if it would be too loud when I remove cats, and go with the Helix.

It's actually not that loud compared to other setups. I think the volume is just right :)

Holla, I'm going with the HKS Carbon TI, I want the slant also. Does the two HKS exhausts sound match. Not sure about the DP, I want something that has a bung on top for an AEM uego, do you know of one? Does the Helix have one?

I can tell you that the Hi-Power and the Carbon-Ti sound the same. I've got the Hi-Power and my buddy has the Carbon-Ti.

The Helix DP does have a bung on the side. (up top) ;)

Peak is 2hp less...but the gains across the board were teh winnar. So we're both right.

I will look at the printed magazine when I get home...I think they may have a misprint on the website as well.

does the hks go under the rear axle before it comes up to slant or does it go over it?

It passes under the axle. All of them do. There isnt enough room to go above.

which system has a louder tone blitz or hks, also which is deeper.

The Blitz (my favorite) is basically like the RFL of exhaust systems. If you have no cats it is really loud. The HKS is a little more mellow. Depth, hmmm, I think they are about the same in depth.

i love the hks hi power...all my buddies love the sound of it...saying that they wish their cars sounded like this...instead of buzzing it roars...
