I need to take my car in for an alignment, the recall fix, and a warranty issue (bad seal on drivers door). How has your experiences been with Emich Subaru's service department? I am new to Tucson so I am not familiar with them. Is there anyone in particular you prefer to deal with there? Anyone you specifically avoid when you go there?
Thanks in advance for your help.

I had my car in and outta there for 6-12 months. I finally asked for the manager and after I talked to him, the next time I picked up my car it was fixed. Just my experience though. good luck.

Their customer service has been excellent in my opinion. If I ever had to leave my car overnight, I had a rental or a loaner. Not promising the same for you, but my experience. The service writers seem kind of gruff, especially Ron, but they did take care of me. As far as the knowledge of the technicians, I'm not so sure. Takes a couple of times to fix things. They never ordered all the parts they needed the first time, so I was going back constanstly. Cliff notes version: they take good care you, just a little slow getting everything done. Give us an update when you're done.

They are not bad, just not great. I've never had any serious problems with the service department, but I'd rather take my car to Pitre.

Ditto on this one. I've had great customer service from Emich's service department. Their sales department is way lacking though. Pitre is the best around but it is in Phoenix so it's not very convenient just for some service unless it is something big. I had my STi aligned at Emich. It pulled to the left from the showroom floor. When Emich was done it was better but not straight on. Don't know if that is their fault or the soft STi steering rack bushings?
