I want a Stromung exhaust on my RS. The only question I really have is this: is there a sound or power difference between the single and dual tip mufflers, or is it just a looks thing? I know it's loud, but it couldn't be much louder than my last RS was without any muffler at all! By the way, that was a '91 Camaro RS, 305 V8 http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/wink.gif It belongs to SOA now!

The dual-tip dyno showed a 1-2 (IIRC) HP increase over the single. I don't know about the sound. Finally, I've heard that the dual-tip fits the shape of the bumper a little more nicely.

yea, iirc, the dual is slightly better in performance but its also a bit heavier. dunno bout the sound thing dou, i've heard the stromung but wasnt sure if it was dual or single tipped. shouldnt be too much of a difference imo...

How much louder than stock is the Stromung? I'd like to put on a performace exhaust, but I also spend 2hours of my day in my car, so I don't want anything too harsh.

Deep and rumbly, not harsh at all, not as loud as I expected... Big smile when I start the car.

I'm not too sure about the performance aspect, but dual tips looks a whole lot better than single on the Impreza.

dual tip, it looks nice and i LOVE (thats LOVE) the way it sounds.

I lower my window just to hear it, and I have had this exaust for like 5 months almost! its the best sounding exaust.
