Anyone had this done? Idea what it costs?

i just run into a light post at 50 MPH every 10 years..... costs a lot in insurance

beats me ... my 95 legacy is coming up on 10 yrs but I'm not planning to have the airbags checked (I'm sure they are fine)

Check airbags, yeah right.....the dealer will likely tell you that the bags need to be replaced for "safety and compliance"

I'd rather remove the airbag fuse and disable it totally, ensuring my seat belts still locks up will do.
