Ok - the breakdown is Subaru voided my warranty (what a suprise) and i'm in need of an engine - details aren't important right now. They're calling me back with a total price, but i know it's going to be more than i want to spend on the same EJ20... so i was wondering if any of you knew where i could get a low miles (less than 30k, less than 20k would be choice... My car is a freakin '04 [4mo. old]) full STI clip? US Spec pref but JDM is ok too...

This really sucks and i'm minutes away from just selling my car... i want to keep it, i love it - but this is crap. Any info you could give me would be awesome! Thanks so much in advance!

What motor do you have now?

I have seen both the Motors that Kastle mentioned and you can't go wrong with either.

Drop the car off at Kingpin. Pick up when done.

Drop the car and the title to your house off at Dyno-Comp. Pick up when broke.

Fixed it for ya ;)

Suit yourself... I for one, would rather spend a little more to make sure it's done right the first time, instead of having to have it fixed over an over.

Wow, who knew me needing an engine would start a Kingpin v. Dyno-Comp throw down... :p

No kidding. Not sure where the animosity is coming from, Dubu, but maybe you had a bad experience or something. I have never had a bad experience at Kingpin (in fact, I have been more than satisfied with Mike's tuning) and as a result I will continue to spend money there. There are a whole lot of other people that share that sentiment on this board, so I'm not sure where you're comment is coming from.

As a side note, I have never heard Mike slam another tuning/parts company in public. I have, however, heard that from Rich. That to me says a lot about a company. Take it for what it's worth.

I made a small comment by quoting you... you snowballed it. End of discussion.
