Hey guys... i'm looking to throw some big fog lights on my STi... I'd love to do the JDM conversion, but i'm not a fan of that paperweight bumper beam...

anyone install any big fog lights or have any recommendations for me?

would LOVE to throw the old school RS fogs in and make them yellow!

Hmmm, lamp pods [read: expensive] that go over the stock foglamp positions perhaps? :) The GDBs did get kinda screwed with the foglamps. But you can probably jury rig something or fabricate some sort of bracket to hold larger ones, except they'll have to stick out pretty far (which some people like [i'm one!]). :) Another option would be to mount some auxiliary foglamps in the lower opening of the front bumper.

I have a GDA (bugeye), sorry about that, was just kicking around ideas.
You might be able to get a light bar (rallyinnovations.com) that you could mount foglamps too.
Since i was cheap I made my own and did this...

do the jdm fogs actually have a high light output? i replaced the oem fogs on my outback with some hella's and the difference seemed to be 400%. the weight loss from the jdm bumper is also attractive.
