Is there a fix available to eliminate these OBD codes? I'm assuming that the reason for them is that the emissions plumbing has been removed during the turbo install the previous owner did on my car (Eric SS' old 2000 2.5RS). I've taken the turbo off and installed the original catalytic converter (which took care of those codes) but still am getting these codes.

What i'm hoping is available is some little resistor mod i can do similar to the MIL gadget used to eliminate CELs with aftermarket exhausts.

Here's the full code descriptions:
P0447 Evaporative emission control system vent control low input
P1443 Evaporative emission control system vent control function problem

I searched and found lots of reports of problems but the only solution i came across was to send the ecu to subaru for reprogramming. My car is long out of warranty so i don't want to do that (because i'm broke!).

I never removed any emissions control items on the car so I'm not sure why it would be throwing those codes. Maybe the high fuel pressure of a Turbo motor wrecked the charcoal canister or something.

oh really? I don't even know what to look for or where to look for that stuff. On motorcycles (which I am much better with than cars) I know that many times people remove charcoal cannisters and all the other emissions related gadgets because they choke the heck out of the engine and are very detrimental to performance. I thought maybe you had done something similar here.

It's had those codes every time i've ever checked so i assumed that the stuff was probably just completely missing, just like the Cat efficiency code i got before i put the stock cat back on.

Maybe i'll have to take it to the dealer and have them check it out, i just can't really pay for it right now.

P.S.-When did you put nitrous on the camaro?? That's gotta be wild.
