I ahve a aftermarket conversion kit on my 02 WRX that I bought off another member who installed it for me. One bulb blew up 4-5 days after installation. It worked fine immediately after install though.

My setup is:

philips ballasts and 2 non philips bulbs

What shoudl I do? where can buy the after market HID 6000K bulb with the 2 wires coming out of the base (ie. not OEM).

First off, are you sure it's the bulb and not the ballast? Check on ebay for bulbs or visit the classifieds or post your message on the www.hidforum.com

I think his bulb actually exploded.

Doh - my bad, overlooked that part about the exploding bulb :o

so where can I buy another bulb with the male / female connector for my HID conversion. I only see the other OEM kind of HID bulbs, never one that has these 2 connectors.
