Thinking of Rota Actions 17" for winter rims on an STi. Anyone have this setup or know somebody that does? Will they fit? Thanks.

I think the only current Rotas that will clear the STi calipers are the 17x8 Torque, the Tarmac II, and the SDR.

I'm fairly certain that there's not enough clearance on the Action.

I admit I saw that thread but by page 5, I was gonna kill someone. I reread it and it looks like somebody used 5mm spacers to get it to work but I don't know how credible the source is. Can anybody confirm this? Is using spacers such a wise idea to use on our cars?

The Rotas that DO fit over the brembos are...

Rota Torque (17 x 8)
Rota SDR (17 x 7.5)
Rota Tarmac II (17 x 7.5)
Rota Tarmac II (18 x 7.5)

Hope that helps.

If you do decide to get spacers...

1. get hubcentric spacers
2. figure out how the minimum width you have to use to have teh actions clear... because at this time i don't know of any STI ownder that has used spacers to make the actions fit.
