This is the second time this happened to my '05 STi. The lights don't flash when you arm / disarm the alarm using the key FOB. The 1st time it happened I took it to the dealer and they supposedly reset the fricking thing. Now it is off again but I'd like to fix it myself if possible but couldn't.

Anyone here can help? TIA.

ive done this before too.. you're probably in valet mode.
Check your users manual for getting back to normal.

ya know, mines the reverse.. the "beep beep" noise when i arm/disarm the car is not heard but the lights flash. and then magically after driving or something and going to lock the car again - the noise comes back. just plain weird.
