I haven't been happy the tires on my '02 Impreza Outback Sport (Bridgestone Potenza). They are not good in the snow. I would like to replace them and it looks like the ContiPremierContacts would be a good choice.
Anyone have experience with these tires?
Thanks.

they are thoroughly uninspiring in anyu type of performance or spirited driving ..... I have not had a chance to drive them in the snow

I commute in this car and sometimes pull a small trailer, so spirited driving isn't critical. I just want a tire with better rain/snow performance. Thanks for your input.

Since you're already looking at Continental, why not the Extreme Contacts? I love mine in the snow, they did great. And very good in the rain as well, very confidence-inspiring on the highway even through standing water. My $.02

I guess I picked the Premiers becuz they had a higher treadlife rating. But it looks like a lot of folks like the Extremes and they are cheaper. Thanks for your .02
