I'm going to post this for you rally folks first. I'm making backups of the 1991 and 1992 WRC Review on DVD. Each DVD is roughly an hour and twenty minutes long and covers all fourteen rounds of the championship. If you would like a copy, email me and I'll get you more details as I don't want to infringe on any copyright stuff and/or vendor status stuff. They're going to be $20 (both DVDs) shipped anywhere in the U.S. or Canada.

Brian, are these (and other old years) available on DVD anywhere, or did you copy them from VHS?

I backed up my old VHS tapes to DVD. They aren't available anywhere else AFAIK.

If you're on a PC, what software did you use to capture the video? I have about 50 rally vids going back to the group B era and I'd love to convert them to DVD. How's the quality?

The quality is only going to be as good as the source tape unfortunately. I borrowed one of my clients stand alone DVD Recorders and copied it from the VCR directly to that. It's got the ability to add chapter markers, so these DVDs have chapter markers at the beginning of each round of the rally. It was a PITA doing that though as I had to sit and watch the entire rally (boo hoo I know :D). I'm sure it'd be easier on a computer, but I don't have any way of capturing the video on my computer.
