Need help removing the fog light lens for bulb replacement. There seems to be no obvious way to do so and the dealer as well as the local auto parts stores have no informantion, Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Not that familiar with the lights on the 96, but on the later ones the procedure is to remove the fog light from the bumper and the bulb can then be accessed from the rear of the light. Yours should be similar.

The light housing indeed opens up on the back side: in this case there's a cover held by two screws, and first you need to remove the light. Remove the screw clips on the bottom front of the plastic splash guard, and one lug screw in the wheel well, to bend the plastic out of the way enough to reach the two mounting bolts. Those hold the bracket to the bumper beam. Use a 10mm socket and an extension. Don't let the light hit the ground.
