i was told that its bad to get a lightened flywheel, is this true or untrue. also do i need to get a aftermarket flywheel to run this clutch? what changes would i feel with a lightened flywheel. thanks

Ommjido - depending on your model year, the prices are the same for the GC8!

Dashiet - $400 for installation if you are interested. A lightened flywheel results in quicker revs, but similarly quicker drop off in revs. Mostly the auto-X / track guys tend to run lightened, whereas the guys that drag race more often stay with their stock flywheel weight.

Do you carry the ACT 6 puck clutch for the 03 WRX? What would be the advantage/disadvantage of it over the the normal streetclutch? Also what would be the price for the street clutch/6puck (if you have it) and streetlite flywheel to 77531?

hkswrxwagon - Yes we carry the 6-puck as well. It will handle more power than the regular street disc, but the engagement is much harsher due to the lack of springs in the hub. Total for the 6-puck with streetlite flywheel would be $660 shipped
