Does anyone have one of these?
In my car anything over 65 and I have to close it because it gets too loud. Do these help in this situation?
I tried a search and didn't come up with anything, so any advice would be appreciated.

Are you refering to the moonroof deflector?

Yup...couldn't remember what it was called.
I just like having the sunroof open, but when driving on the highway ~75mph the sound is almost unbearable. http://www.i-club.com/ubb-files/frown.gif

I have it on my car and it makes a big difference. There will still be wind noises at speed, but no where near the volume without it! The air doesn't get in the car anymore though, so the only use for it in the summer is to let heat get out and let sun in. BE CAREFUL though... put on some wax or other paint protectant on before you install it. I had the dealer do it and there are marks in the clear coat now.
Hope that helps

I have one too. I put it one because of the noise and it really cures the problem. Like Ashton said, not much air comes in any more. It does look good though. I think it is worth it.

Have one on my car, I ordered it when I bought the RS. So it was there when I picked it up.
It works very well. Makes an already-tiny sunroof opening even smaller, though (by another 1/3 I'd say).

I agree with siper2. It does cut down on the noise, but it also cuts down on the size of the opening. I spend a lot of time on the highway so its worth the trade off.

Just a note:
I worked in the detailing business for 12 years. All of these will leave a mark in your paint weather you wax it or not. The chemicals in the rubber will stain the paint and the wind motion on the deflector will rub a mark no matter what. Also the little tabs that hook onto the roof will chip the paint off and cause rust. Because the little hook goes around the back of the rolled lip in the sunroof it may chip the paint were you can not see the chip and then the rust just showes up one day and you need a new roof. Yes, they reduce wind noise but if you live in a wet climate or where it snows and all I'm sure you have enough rust causing problems to worry about without these problems. Yes you can constantly check on these tabs and work to make sure rust doesn't start, but I'd have to have someone have a problem with out knowing all the pros and the Cons..
