After a few years of using this as a daily driver, I'm forced to sell it due to my current subaru project. This car has 127,000 miles on it with oil changes every 3,000 miles and has been used as a commuter for work/college with mostly highway miles. It is completely stock and I have never modded/raced it. I had the rear brakes replaced in march 03, and the high pressure line to the power steering pump replaced a month later. The starter was replaced roughly 6 months ago along with the heater and a full tune up. The engine has had little problems except a few which came up recently. I noticed sluggishness recently, and after taking it to the mechanic he said it needs new o-rings.
The exact problem is that oil was getting through to the spark plug area and pushing them out of place..3 to be exact, this resulted in oil soaked wires/plugs. I recently had a temporary fix done on this, which involved replacing the wires/plugs and a sealing with sillicone. The air conditioning doesn't get cold, but air comes through fine. The transmission is still in good condition, although there is the occasional grinding in 2nd gear, but still minor. The targa top rattles a bit on bumpy surfaces, but this is mainly due to the driver side screw which needs to be replaced. The 3 other screws secure the top down. The interior consists of leather seats and carpet in burgundy to match the exterior. The seats have some cracks but are overall very comfortable and in good condition. There is a Pioneer DEH-4300 200w head unit installed wired to two 6x9s in the trunk, this is pre wired for a 2 channel amp, but I removed the amp due to a rusted/destroyed screw, i can however include the amp for no charge if the buyer is interested. The exterior is in good condition with original burgundy paint. There is some paint chipping along the hood mostly and few light dings/scratches on the t. top. The rear tires were recently changed and the front two need to be changed, rear tread 10, front tread 4. I am located in Voorhees, NJ...asking 1,700 obo, if interested pm me and I can provide contact info if you wish to talk directly.
