AAAAHH MY CAR!! I was in 5-car collision this morning in Sac SB at the split. If you were stuck in traffic it was because of this. Luckily I'm OK with just a little sore neck. I was second from the front and the guy in front of me just got tapped when I got pushed into him (although it did crack the front bumper). The rear of my car was smashed in in the middle of the trunk. Somehow not a single light was broken on my car (that I could see).
Does anyone know a good Subaru mechanic/body shop in Sacramento?
Any suggestions on how to proceed. This is a MY00 sedan that only has 2200 miles on it. I dont even have the plates on it yet! The vehicles involved were a Pickup (unknown make), F350, Toyota Pickup, then me, then Toyota 4Runner (in order from the rear). Maybe if these F@#&$ knew that their trucks cant stop for $#!* we wouldn't have had an accident. I am pleased with how the Subaru handled itself before (plenty of braking) and after (damage is well contained) the accident.
Any help would be great.

Sorry, all I can offer is my condolences. I don't know what's in the Sac area. Good luck.

Thanks craig.
Sac SB at the split ==
Sacramento, south bound at the split of I-80 and business 80. It's a very accident prone area due to the way the freeways are set up (and the way people drive).

Doug,

2 things, I'll make short as I am WAY past sleep time... (I hate OT, no time for car...)

1) Either Maita Sub or Roseville Sub are great... EVERY time I have been to both it has been great... Maita was after a 3 week old Toyota P-Up (Sube owned by the same group) they repaired the truck with all factory parts... Roseville received my car with minor damage to the sunroof. They took my car to "Utopia" Auto body on Roseville Road just south of Antelope... Turned out awesome... the paint they applied was smoother and in general looked better than the rest of the car...

2) When you get your car back... Be An ARSE! Look for ANY small errors in the paint at all!

Thats all I have to say... if you want PM/email me a way to reach you and I'll either call or give you my number and pass a little more on... Ohh and hey maybe I missed it, but what color is your car and what areas are you commonly in... I have had a few sightings over the past 2 months... Noone EVER fesses up... (You'll know me if you see me, Yellow SUBARU on the front window, and until this weekend I still have my numbers on...)

Which reminds me EVERYONE with nothing better to do this weekend... Come out to McClellan, the SCCA Sac Chapter is holding their enduro this weekend... Show time for GS @ STS/STR is approx 0730 both days!!!

Mike
