Get a Green or small GT30R. It'll still spool fast and you should be able to get pump-gas low 12's if you drive it like you stole it.

yeah... um yeah.. the green is good for much more than 12's if tuned and driven.. and the 30 should be even faster...

It all depends on what you want and what you want to spend... a 18 or 20G might be fine for some improved top end w/ very little drop in spool.. a VF22 should pick you up some top end for a cheap price... or an AVO or a PE or some other turbo.. it's just not very hard to get an STI in low 12's w/ a turbo upgrade and EM.

Of course you will need bigger injectors (don't think they're part of your current cobb set up but I might be wrong).

The green is made by forced performace... but check out what deadbolt.com has to offer. Hes a great suby guy. Save yourself some pain down the road and do a lot more research before you buy a tubo.

Yeah, but I was talking pump, with a safe tune, driven by someone who doesn't really know anything about the cars or the turbos. Basically, anyone can run a low 12 with a Green or a GT30 in an STi. Seriously, TBE and EM will probably get a seriously GOOD driver there. A GT30R lets Morgan Freeman drive Miss Daisy to a 12.3.

Nothing is "wrong"
But on that same note almost EVERY single Cobb car I have seen, and or driving has sucked pretty bad for the mods it had. And 9 time out of 10 the person paid ALL THE MONEY for the stuff too.

That is the trend I have seen since 2001 when I started comming to this site.

My STi is faster that this guys, with a much slower 60' time... and NO MODS.

You'll get a lot more useful responses if you have this post moved to Factory 2.5L Turbo where it belongs. The handful of folks with background with the 2.5 STi are much more likely to see it over in the 2.5L turbo forum.

STi's can hit mid 12's at 5800 ft altitude on a Mitsu 18G, so anything in that class or larger will suit your needs just fine.
