I dont know why I was thinking about this...TurboXS stage 4(330+hp), Vishnu Stage 2 (340+hp)...Cobb stage 2.5 (315+hp)...blah blah blah..

Ok, now whats confusing.....I really dont care about the HP that they advertise. Whats got me is that people are running 12.7 1/4 mile with the Cobb stage 2.5, which is 315hp....so, it would seem that people with the Cobb stage 2, with 280hp would be 3-4 tenths slower than the 2.5 1/4 mile times. Am I thinking crazy that 30-40hp should net 3-4 tenths in the 1/4????

People with TBE and computer are running 13.3-13.4....shouldnt they be running 13.0-13.1??? I think I rambled enough.

QTP is also making more than your standard TBE and EM...def not around 280-300 at the crank.

Peak HP on the dyno doesn't mean much.

Yup, it is the area under the curv that gets it done!

Quarter mile trap speed is very closely tied to the cars power to weight ratio. The trap speed is probably as reliable an indicator of power as most dyno runs.

ET is completely useless for comparing cars power. It is strongly effected by a the driver and strip/tire condions. Ignore ET's, look for the trap speed -- that tells the tail.
