Scoobs2002 08-11-2004, 12:49 AM Nice Numbers man. That thing must pull like mad. ChessMaster 08-11-2004, 01:14 AM Wow, and a TM too. C ksikyat2000 08-11-2004, 01:31 AM wow im guessing that is with C16. Did you guys do a pump gas runs also? ksikyat2000 08-11-2004, 01:32 AM oh yeah and what kind of clutch? Stock one must of been skipping daisies on the dyno! How much PSI were you guys pushing? xtian67 08-11-2004, 01:58 AM Wow, and a TM too. Pavlo 08-11-2004, 08:26 AM add the missing 3,500 rpm and the curve doesn't look so sick any more. But good nonetheless. Paul Leonardo 08-11-2004, 09:18 AM Do we have the record for STi's over 500hp per square mille? Time to get that kit:devil: Leo:banana: subieworx 08-11-2004, 09:23 AM That must be one large turbo. That thing doesn't spool till next year. pegdrgr 08-11-2004, 09:45 AM It really does not spool that late, the thing is it keeps pulling up top, so it makes the bottom end of the curve look really bad. 300 ftlbs of torque at 4400 RPM is not bad at all, although I agree it probably feels slow compared to how the car pulls at 5500 RPM. Here is an optomistic plot(dynojet) of a SR40 and a TD04 stage 2 car both on 2.0L motors. The SR40 doesn't hit 300 ft lbs until 4500, and the TD04 makes peak torque only 700 RPM sooner! http://www.pegdrgr.com/images/WRX/SR40_dyno2.jpg That is one SICK HP curve! big_adventure 08-11-2004, 10:29 AM Given the size of the turbo, that spool looks pretty darn good to me. My car makes not much more than half that wtq at 4500. Extra displacement is nice. -Sean (yes, I'm exagerating somewhat...) subieworx 08-11-2004, 10:41 AM Given the size of the turbo, that spool looks pretty darn good to me. My car makes not much more than half that wtq at 4500. Extra displacement is nice. -Sean (yes, I'm exagerating somewhat...) Still spools late for me, but then mine is a daily driver. Impressive none the less. What octane is that running on? Not to go OT, but has anyone seen the adds in magazines for the 100 octane gas that is going to be available from certain gas stations now? They are going to have pumps for it and it is legal to pump straight into your car. Scoobs2002 08-11-2004, 10:44 AM Cant beat those UR Kits....truly awsome...along with the tuning! I cant wait to get my Stage 5 WRX kit in next week. Once agian......good job. Props to that Gadiel dude for being a bad ass mofo'n tuner! Time for me to trade in for an STI! Conduit 08-11-2004, 08:02 PM What I want to know is when is Gadiel going to start distributing those UTEC maps? :D sabaka95 08-11-2004, 09:36 PM  With stock internals you will have the record for blown motors per square mile. Gadiel 08-11-2004, 11:22 PM  With stock internals you will have the record for blown motors per square mile. A lot of fast car but sorry, No broken motors on my records. The cars are definetly making some good power, keep it up.. :D AZScoobie 08-12-2004, 01:50 AM Agreed. Thats some incredible power and obviously some good tuning... Keep it up. Gadiel 08-17-2004, 04:56 PM Walbro 342 supermarkus 08-17-2004, 09:08 PM Isn't Sponaugle running into fuel starvation issues making less power? I gotta to look for that thread. Subaloo 08-18-2004, 10:51 AM I've seen Walbro 342's support over 650HP. How much power is Sponaugle making? pegdrgr 08-18-2004, 11:51 AM Sponaugle is making low 425ish last I read. He is using the Supra fuel pump, which seems to want more voltage to drive it really hard. In the end I believe Sponaugle will have a stouter fuel delivery system, but it appears to have some quirks to work out before it delivers. big_adventure 08-18-2004, 12:51 PM Sponaugle is making low 425ish last I read. He has not posted a number since he threw down 427 with a 20g-td06h-8cm^2. Now, he's running a LOT more than that. I would CONSERVATIVELY guess 500 awhp, perhaps more. Look at the MAF values he's put up. pegdrgr 08-18-2004, 01:12 PM Good point. I suspect as much, however without him posting a value I did not want to comment on it. happasaiyan 08-18-2004, 01:16 PM Actually, Jeff is making >427. It started when he put on the new AVO 600. He also had problems with both the Walbro and the Supra pump keeping fuel pressure high enough at the flow rates he needed. Oh, and the engine seems to be just fine and it sounds like the car will be on the dyno soon. Subaloo, what kind of car was making 650hp+ on the Walbro? It is great to see all of these Subarus making big power these days :D Ravenous 08-18-2004, 02:23 PM awesome car you need to run over here in the states SikofFalln 08-18-2004, 02:40 PM Hot damn I want that! happasaiyan 08-18-2004, 03:29 PM Yeah and he wasn't having the fuel problems when he was "only" making 427. Damn.. The secret is out. ;) No, it's not dead yet Jim. I pulled the AVO600 off last night to clean up a small oil leak in the drain tube, and will have it back together tonight.. Should be on the dyno this Saturday at 3pm. Keep in mind 500whp on a Dynojet is not 500whp on Monica. ;) Damn I wish there was a dynojet around here with the 4WD option! As far as the fueling goes, the walbro could support 600+hp for C16, because C16 is ran so lean. With pump gas however, keeping AFRs in the low 11s at 8000rpm with 800cc injectors was not working well. I'll have some more data after this weekend of course. None the less, very impressive numbers. I would REALLY like to see one of the UTEC logs from this pull. That would tell a lot about the dyno. Where I am, in Southern California, 91 is the highest all gas station carry. There are a few special 76 station here and there carry 100, but it is like $5~$6 per gallon. To me, having to buy high octane gas from a 5 gallon drum and put it in at home is crazy hassle. And again, the $5 a gallon issue :( This is my daily driver/beater, I already spend $350~$400 a month on 91 pump, I don't want to spend $800 a month on gas  cronic 08-19-2004, 02:25 PM Where I am, in Southern California, 91 is the highest all gas station carry. That is why I said I might have hope, I was thinking if some guy can get 505 whp with a TMIC on C16, maybe I can get 400 whp with a TMIC on 91 pump. You can effectively "buy" octane that way. I know if I were still in Cali I would be running WI. yeah I know water injection works. but somehow injecting water into the combustion chamber scares me, water is both non-combustible and non-compressible :( I'll see what I get with my set up and go from there, maybe I'll have to run a FMIC afterall. zombiedog 08-19-2004, 02:45 PM Once you go WI you never go back. It let me run so much boost I blew my gaskets but the internals were unharmed. WI is 115 octane on demand ;) And I don't use water usually, methanol is the way to go and I only use 2 gallons every 1k or so depending on the ledfoot.
