hey everyone....i had some bad road rage the other day....
on minnesota, some guy in a mercury tracer wanted to pass everyone so bad....the guy looked like some stoner ****** ass druggie....anyways...no room to pass in the left lane or the right lane...so he chooses the wrong person to cut off......he tried to pass me on the shoulder.....me, i was like "**** you *******, you arent doin that **** to me" so i drop it into third and floor it....and he almost goes in the grass :devil: so finally there is room to pass and he flies into the left lane and speeds past me...him and his stupid friends were all flipping me off and one through a rock star can at my car but missed.....im no morning person, so that really pissed me off...so i sped up and flipped em off back and threw a full gatorade bottle at their car...and at the light at tudor and minnesota i was so hoping that they wanted to get out and fight.....but they were scared and didnt even look my way...i had my seatbelt off and was ready...lol....yeah road rage owns me.....especially truck drivers who drive like ********......

did i go overboard in retalliating? :devil:

anyways.....what do you guys do to stupid people who cause road rage to you?

I drive as defensively as they drive offensively. :devil: However, if they are going real fast or driving dumb like on the highway, I let them go and the cop can get them and not me :lol:

When I was in college, I had an '84 Supra. Well, one day, apparently, I cut-off some guy in a Mercedes ( I was to find out later). He proceeds to track down my license plate, gets my address and phone (who the f knows how), and proceeds to terrorize my parents and sister with threatening phone calls like:
-'I know where you live you f'n punk! Yeah, I just drove by your white/brown house, you were parked out front. If I ever catch you getting into your car, I'll beat the sh8t out of you and anyone in you family who tries to help!'

-to my father, 'You tell your f'n smart*ss son to watch his back! He better be there the next time I call, and I better get a f'n apology from him, or I don't know what I'll do!'

This *sshole, psycho is for real. This continues for about a week and 1/2 until one day he calls and I finally answer. Of course, all I wanted to say was 'I'll rip off your head and ***** down you neck if you ever say one word to any member of my family again'. But, being helpless and not knowing anything about this p.o.s. (hey, isn't helpless a fun feeling?), I apologized. He continued to cuss me out before eventually hanging up.

MORAL: I had no idea who this guy was, or when (and if) the whole episode happened!? For all I know, one of my friends could have been driving my car (it happened occasionally). But, remember, there is always someone more capable than you to taking their anger to extremes. So, nowadays, 15 years later, I let the a-hole pass me by, flip me off, whatever...it's not worth it.

I wish death upon them and hopefully my driving would cause them to crash and die.

Sounds like a waste of perfectly good Gatorade :lol: Seriously though...I used to drive like a maniac, but now I just drive normal around town and if people want to drive insane, it's safer (on my part) to leave them be.

I deveoped my road rage while I was liveing in Tucson. Talk about stupid drivers I think that where they are raised at. God forbid if there was any water on the ground. They would go nuts. It was like being in a Mad Max movie. All the rules of driveing went away when it rain. Then there was the snowbirds that came through every winter. Wow think about it now is getting my blood boiling. I dont think i would ever take it to the exteme of tracking someone down or pulling a gun but I do scream and curse alot. I ve noticed that here in fairbanks anyway that the left lane is actually the slow lane. Well at least thats how they drive. I think thats what irritates me more than getting cut off. Slow people in the fast lane or when they pase with the car next to them. Well now that I m all spun up I m going to make a drink to take the edge off.

Did you hit their car with the Gatorade? I hope you did... It would make me smile. Not as much as if the whole carful ended up dead (and you got away, of course), but it would still make me smile.

one time my dad accidentally cut someone off...even though he was like 100 feet ahead....the biker came up to our truck and kicked the door in....and all my dad did was sit there and told the guy to **** himself....me on the other hand....i got pissed cause i just washed and waxed the truck and also the guy was callin my dad out.....so i got out and told him "back the **** off before i beat the **** out of you." and he got in my face and pushed me so i punched him pretty hard....then my dad got out...and i was like hell yeah...i get to see his years of army training in action....and all my dad did was knock his bike over.....i so wanted to see my dad kick his ass......and boy did i get the yelling of a life time when we got home....lol.... i'm an easy going person...but if someone damages any of our cars...thats what pisses me off most....

but yeah....road rage is the suck...

When a truck start tailgating me like there is no tomorrow :mad: , I drive slower just to pissed them off :devil: , then they switch lanes to pass me I just don't let them. :lol: ..I get really defensive when I got love ones on board...I'm just gonna get a bulb for my brake lamp that flashes real fast when I hit the brakes to wake these fools tailgating me. Or maybe I just drive to slow :p

i had white turn signals...and when both of em are on...they are bright as hell.....but i got pulled over for em...so now im back to orange.....

take them out and shoot them, what do you mean i can't do that i was in fear of my car being hit by this little out of control ass wipe and his idiot friends that haven't even had there nuts drop yet. but seriously though it's not worth someones life to get stupid out there guys unless of course you are in fear of your life or your loved ones lives then all bets are off....say hello to my little friend :devil:

I woulda followed him personally, and at the same time called the plates in to the cops, and continue to follow him, until he stopped. I followed some poor white dude who cut me off all the way off the strip, downtown, and chased him through a bunch of streets watching him start to get more and more panicked till he hit a parking concrete block. Then i left, my black integra a blur of motion as I went home and switched to the Eclipse...the moral of the story: if youre ever gonna do anything real invasive, have two cars :p

When I see someone dodging through the lanes and riding my ass, I just match speeds with a car in the lane next to me so both lanes are blocked--or even better, speed up past the innocent car in the other lane, but not far enough to let the ******* through...when he cuts into your lane slow down so the innocent car gets a bit ahead--the ******* will change lanes again thinking he'll get past. Just keep alternating who's in the lead, you can have the guy change lanes quite a few times.

was it a green 2dr tracer? I may have had a run in with the same scraggley dude, who evidently didn't have an empty can so he spit on my car! I would like to find this POS and take him crabbing, without the bouy.

ok, now I have more time to vent.

About the end of may, I was coming home from work on the entrance ramp onto new seward from tudor going south. I made it into the slow lane, then wanted to get into the fast lane(always). There was a car moving past, and plenty of room behind him before the next car, a green 2dr escort or tracer with long haired crackhead version of a hansen brother driving. I turned on my blinker, and waited for the dodge dakota to slip by, then verified I still had room and started moving over. Joe Dirt then proceeded to floor it and try and cut me off from behind, going until within feet of my merging car. Since I don't back off easily, he decided to keep going and hit the grass on the left, making it look like I pushed him off the road. After he was on the shoulder, STILL GAINING, he started honking and swerving all over, then shot for the slow lane and pulled beside me. This is where I really got angry, because the Dakota in front decided to slow down to the same speed as the guy next to him to stop me. Evidently he was friends with this guy or caught a glimpse of his rearview and believed his fake swerve off the road. That's when he rolled down his window and spit at my car, the whole time barely maintaining control of his car and clearly in a rage. Due to being trapped between cars, still in my Subaru uniform, and the fact that three individuals (driver and passenger in green car) were involved at the same time, I didn't agitate him further, and tried to leave the situation. It wasn't that easy though, because the Dakota was blocking me. I laid on the horn for a solid minute right behind the Dakota, and he slammed on the brakes! Fortunately I'd have to be asleep not to stop quicker than a Dakota, and slowed easily. When he did this, a small opening was made and I was gone.

I didn't have time to get license plates or much of anything because I was blown away by what happened. I have been looking for the car ever since though, and this thread sounded like the same guy.

Here's where it gets interesting, after repeating AK 2002's story to my GF, she mentioned she'd overheard some guys talking about wrx's at work and something about a rock star can. She works at Sand Lake Tesoro and seems to think this guy might be a regular. I'm not sure, but I know I like to find out. I will keep everyone posted.

Well as I got to thinking the better one would be our breaker bar we use to undo our engine mount bolts..on a side note there are only 3 bolts holding an A-10 engine up. Anyway this bar is so big its like 3 to 4 ft long and weighs a good bit. There is an extention that u have to use with it. You have to reach the mount bolts from the ground so this extention is pretty long. Oh and on anouther side note since this is about road rage saw some one blow their engine up( older jag I think) while on the way back from F-town. I pulled up next to him at a stop light. Kept staring at me then when it turned green he punched it and as I let him pull away I saw some smoke comeing out his exhaust and right before he got to his exit a ton of blue smoke poured out of his exhaust. lol As he pulled over i drove by and I had to laugh. Thats what ya get buddy. I didnt even provok a race either. I guess he saw the hood scoop and felt like he had to be a man by raceing me.

He tried really hard to box me in the last time...i only made it by less than a foot. I saw those jackasses laughing at me one of the times i tried to get in-front, so I called 911 on them, hoping to make a call for reckless driving. However, I am comforted now in knowing that my cell doesn't work anywhere outside of Eagle River. I've made phone calls from Eilson AFB, but it doesn't work 35mi outside of Anchorage.

I was on I-5 south of Olympia, WA. I-5 goes from three lanes to two lanes. I was in the left lane going about 5mph over the limit and had overtaken a car in the center lane going the speed limit. This jerk was one of those guys that can't stand to be passed. With plenty of room in front of him(4 or 5 car lengths) I merged right as my lane ended. Next thing I know this A****** is on my butt. So I speed up another 5mph. Jerkoff is still tailgating me. I'm like, "Fine you A** munch, if you want to go, then go" and move over to the slow lane. He follows me over and continues to tailgate.

By now I've had enough of this crap and throw a ham & cheese sandwich out the window. DAMNED if that thing didn't land and stick to his windshield, right in front of his face. :lol: So what does this Schmuck do, he turns on his wipers. This not only didn't clear the sandwich off, it smeared mayo and sandwich guts all over the drivers side of his windshield. :lol: :lol: Last I saw of him, he was pulling onto the shoulder of the highway to clean his windshield.

I drove the rest of the way to Portland hungry and didn't mind a bit.

HAHA, speaking of road rage....just the other day I had a Blk Chevy SS tailgating me like hell so of course I go slower to piss him off. So of course he tries to go around me so I dropped it into 3rd and floored it so he couldn't pass me. That really pissed him off, so we get to the light and he's still behind me, cussing and yelling. I just smiled and waved it was great =).

I'm glad I'm not the only one who doesn't take his prozac when driving.
I have horrible road rage. They have to piss me off first though. Other than that I am respectful of other drivers. However bad the suck at it :)
