Psydotek 08-11-2004, 08:53 PM Does the air splitter fit an 02-03 WRX hoodscoop? Or is an STi hoodscoop required?
Rapid_Roo 08-11-2004, 09:14 PM where's your office? That splitter/shroud deal sounds tempting. :)

hyp36rmax 08-12-2004, 03:30 PM isnt the size of the GDA MY04 scoop the size of the MY02-MY03 STi scoops? have you tested fitment already? remember i'm reffereing to the MY04 GDA NOT the previous renditons...

mike
hyp36rmax 08-13-2004, 06:48 PM really what i would like to know is wth is the difference btwn the replica tower bars to the real STI bars? is it the welding technique? does sti use a different type of metal? is it aerodynamically correct? *haha felt like adding that comment*
ive been curious if the real sti metal is stronger and the welds hold up more during flex then i would understand the difference, and cough up for the sti or better yet cusco bars, but if theres no difference other then sti then shoot i think ill pick up some of your bars too while im at it for the lip =-P
someone care to chime in the differences?
*to lazy to 'search'....
EAuto 08-13-2004, 08:20 PM hyp36rmax: The major different is the prices :D
You can't really tell the different when you look at the strut bar. We've installed the replica F&R strut bar on our STI for 8 months. No problem at all
See the pic. This is our Sti

To be honestly, the JDM STi strut bar had better finished and welding. But they cost too much and not worth it. The JDM one cost at least 5x more than the replica only. You can buy some other performance parts with those money.
03BluRex 08-15-2004, 01:34 PM do you have any more of the splitter and pm me your location
Rommel
EAuto 08-16-2004, 08:01 PM 03BluRex: PM sent. We are located at Monterey Park
Udonboy 08-22-2004, 05:15 PM Does the STI front lip come painted?
EAuto 08-23-2004, 02:48 AM The lip is unpainted.
