THe 04 wrx hood will fit on the RS but you will either have a reverse scoop or an STI scoop.

where does the license plate bracket mount the plate?

where does the license plate bracket mount the plate?

It mounts to the stock holes that are already on the bumper. THe wrx, sti and forester comes with japanese holes intended for their longer license plates, so in the U.S. we drill two new holes. TO prevent drilling these brackets will come in handy.

Question, what size is the 02-03 hood scoop? Stock or STI sized, also, would the 04-05 STI hood scoop fit the 02-03 hood? And I am assuming that the air splitters will work on these hoods with no modifications? Pretty much a bolt-on affair? Thanks

tHE 04-05 sti scoop will not fit on directly. IT is a different bolt pattern. Also the splitter will need some drilling done to mount the splitter. There are dimples on the hood for where the holes are suppose to be but they are not drilled.

What does the CF trunklid weigh? Do you also sell a lower strength spring for it? I will be looking to replace my "heavy" STi trunk with wing.

One last question (some might think it blasphemy): Is the fit good enough that if I painted it x-tal grey, would it look like a regular WRX trunklid? I'm going for a "subtle" look.

Thanks,
Paul

The trunk weighs like 14lbs and it fits really well. I do not have springs with lower rate though. Im sure it will look good painted still.
