Take if from the owner of the 1st set of Ti-Chrome Attacks in the USA, ;) , the best representation of the color in person is that of the pic on the silver suby^. The dark color you see in the other pics is the effect of the camera lens. These are hard wheels to take pics of. :)

Black Chrome indeed.
As far as the finish holding up. They have proven to be just as durable as the rest of the Rota finish's. Plus, they're warrentied too. Let me know if you want them
