How long of an install is the shifter? I am getting lazy.

i'd say about a hour and a half- two hours if you know your tools

the STi optional is only 10% shorter than what comes stock. bushings are almost the same as stock and its 250.00+ more than what i sell :)

So just to be sure you don't need to drop the trans to change that out now do I? I know getting the stock one in there was a biz*** when I did my 6 speed swap... also this will work with a JDM trans or USDM correct? I think the shift mechanism is the same but I'm not sure.

no need to drop the trans. i think i only remove one of the tranny bolts just to get a little more clearence for the shifterbushings.
