Hey I was wondering if anybody knows anything about the longevity of a VF30 turbo?

I read from Sport Compact car that they could find NO difference from the VF34 in performance.

I know that the VF34 is ball bearing and the VF30 is not, but hey if they cant find a difference the vf30 is like 500$ less.....

and the only problem i could think of would be the longevity of it?

Exact same topic in the 2.0L forum....

Anyways, not much difference around 100-300 RPM quicker spool for the VF34.
Probably same releiability, although heard that ball bearing has more.
Some vendors rip you off for turbos. Find the right vendor, and it'll be around a 50bucks difference.
