Hey, I have searched everywhere for answer to this simple question....
What wire (color)comming out of the rear oxygen sensor is the "sending" wire you would hook up to an Autometer air fuel ratio gauge????????..surely someone in this forum has did this on their Sti!!!..............I know everyone will say this is a useless gauge...I understand that but I have it now I want to install it.....PLEASE help me...anyone.............Thanks....Mike

You really should hook it up to the front O2 sensor instead of the rear.

p.s. It's a useless gauge.

rear 02 signal is on plug 137 off the ecu, pin 25
i'm currently running my defi off of this.
it means absolutly nothing really, but when i put the tuna in the glove box i will run a line off of it to the defi.

rear o2:
Rear oxygen
sensor
Signal B137 25 0 0 — 0.9 —

the front o2 is wonky. i don't think you will get the type of signal even remotely useable off of it.

ecu conector # b124 pin 2 and 3
Front oxygen
(A/F)
sensor
heater
Signal 1 B134 3 0 — 1.0 — Sensor output waveform
Signal 2 B134 2 0 — 1.0 — Sensor output waveform

The front O2 will not work it is a wideband O2.
The rear O2 will not give you a true reading, if you have any cats before it.
I put an O2 in my uppipe before the cats that worked.

also, the rear O2 sensor won't give you any useful information. It doesn't have near the resolution you would need to even come close to doing any "tuning" with it and there are far more useful/important gauges to have for monitoring the health of your car.

the rear o2 sensor is a catalyst monitor only, and like WRX-72 said, it wont work anyway.

If you go cat less to get the rear O2 to read right, you get the bonus of a CEL light.

Yeah all I want to know is what color the wire is coming from the rear O2 sensor. I have an Sti.

The correct color is:
sell the gauge on ebay and get something that actually gives you information you can use

Sorry, that is just all there is to this story.

No....That is not going to happen, I am getting the guage so I wish people would just tell me the dang color. It's not your car so what is everyone worried about?

just trying to save you from completely wasting your time and money.

...and possibly frying something very $$$ in the electrical system.

lack of forethought is becoming increasingly apparent around here

Why is it a useless gauge? Just wondering.
