Today I went to Englishtown to race in the WRX vs EVO events. I have allot of modifications done to my car and expected to run somewhere in the 12's-13's....and I ran a 14.7, then a 14.3, then a 14.0. I get really mad and was about to give up and go home, but, decided to go over to the QTP tent and ask for some advice. I talked to Barry and Tom from Quick Time Performance ( www.quicktimeperformance.com) and they were nice people that wanted to make sue that I had a good time at the track. I told them that my car was running a little funny and they told me to bring the car to the QTP tent so they can take a look at it. They hooked it up to the laptop and checked a few things. They were prefessional about it and went over as much as they could. They quickly pointed out a few things under the hood and told me what to do to fix it.. The told me where to get the parts and what kind of prices Im looking at. Just by talking to them for a few miniutes I could tell that they knew what they are doing. I was sick of being stuck in the 14's so I let Barry drive my car one time and he did a 13.0. I was impressed so I said do it again. I wanted to see what my car can do. He drove my car in the bracket racing and he got my car into the final 4. We ended up losing because my car wasnt running consistantly. They seemed on point with basically any WRX question that I asked. If I didnt run into them - my day would have been horrible. If anyone from QTP sees this post...THANK YOU! From now on If I need parts, or have a question about somthing...I'm going to go to QTP.

To all WRX owners...check this part out. Its called the QTEC and it is a valve on your exhaust that opens and closes with the flick of a switch. They told me about it, and gave me a ride in the QTP WRX to show me how it sounds and performs....and let me tell you...I have to get this. (http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.html) The QTP wrx sounded like a stock wrx....performed great....but when they hit the switch it opened up and sounded like a monster! This will be my next exhaust modification.

The only thing that I didnt like about today....there was at least 3 WRX's for every EVO....and the WRX's werent standing their ground....thats disappointing. It made me sick. eff them evos!

QTP REALLY needs to stop advertising their product like this

but that's cool if you're just really enthusiastic about it

QTP is good people though; I've talked to them for a while and Barry is a standup guy. That's pretty good if barry drove your car to a 13.0... and pretty sad at the same time that you couldn't break 13's with it

If anyone wants one, I'm selling the brand new one I won at E-Town yesterday. Make me an offer.

Its not a advertisement for them. They showed me the part and I like it so I figured let me tell other people about it. QTP makes a part that opens your exhaust whenever you want. Its on a switch. Can it get any better? Can it get any better? On/Off...whenever you want! And about not driving the car myself...whe I was racing I did better every time...14.7, 14.2, 14.0 ... and I just got the car back. I havent had it for three and a half months. I got it in 2002, lost my liscense, got the liscense back, blew the motor, got it back, crashed when I was lost in PA, got it back, broke the turbo, and Just got it back. Im going to fix a few things on the car and then when Im sure it is ready I will go back to the track. Im just not used to launching at 6000 rpm.

hey sounds good man. i'm just skeptical because you're not the first brand new user to make their first post ever about how great QTP is. but that's cool i guess they're probably just gaining a lot of loyal customers. i have heard a lot about their downpipes leaking but otherwise a lot of people seem to be happy.
