Stock STi: 3.9
STi with 4.444 Conversion: 4.444

I'm guessing you offer this 4.444 conversion?

I'm not much of a gear head so this question may seem elementary?

Are you just changine the axle ratio?
Do the stock gear ratios then change as well or remain the same?

I know it's just a mathmatical computer analysis, but it seems to be quite accurate.
Changing just the axle ratio on the car test gives a slightly faster 0-60 time, but slower quarter mile time with the 4.444 axle over the stock 3.9
That's kinda weird?
With the 3.9 it gives:
0-60 in 4.94
1/4 in 13.45 @ 100.4

With just changing to 4.444 axle ratio it gives:
0-60 in 4.83
1/4 in 13.52 @ 101.53

Hmmm.

Front and rear ring and pinion are changed.

Stock gears remain the same.

This upgrade is not for everybody. I am not sure what mathematical analysis you are using, so I cannot comment, but the car is much quicker in the canyons because it remains in the power band all the time. Since I do not drag the car, I cannot comment on whether it has affected quarter mile performance.
