I am new here and am trying to sell my 4th gen Camaro so I can make a nice down payment on an 04 or 03 WRX. My camaro runs 13's but if i get a wrx I definetly want to make it run 12's. What seems to be the hot ticket for up here in Colorado for mods?

not as much as it would take to do 12s in your comaro

I realize this, as I have gone as fast as possible without a power adder or getting a stroker motor, plus the car is unstreetable in the winter. Thats is why i am trying to sell it.

I would like a actual answer to the question though.

I'm not sure about the wrx, but my friend just ran a 12.9@105mph at bandimere with a 60ft of 1.7 in a 96 gc8 impreza L with a garrett t3/t4, fmic, 3" turbo back, and 550cc injectors. Also its an automatic.

So I'm thinking with a wrx just a big turbo like a 20g or t3/t4 with an ar 60 housing and lots of fuel, fmic, clutch that'll hold the power, 3" downpipe + exhaust and a utec. Tuned to 22-25 psi. But that's just my .02, I haven't seen too many wrx crack 12's at bandimere.

youll need a 18G or a 20G turbo, injectors, full exaust w/o cats, clutch and flywheel, Percise Tuning(utec), and a Walbro 255 fuel pump, FMIC, better Tires.....youll also need a 1.7 60'ft...and have some money in the bank to rebuild your transmition when you break your 1st to 2nd gear Fork...

so about 5-6K in parts and about 2K for labor, and about 600-1k for a dyno tune....

so start saving your $$$$$

An EJ25T, much easier to get the torque from those. I'd suggest getting an RS, putting in an STI block and then turboing it, that car would rip the track up.
