good luck with that one.

I would recommnedn going with the Cobb or Injen CAI. Much easier.

Is that a resonator? torque box?

Is this the same thing?

Doesnt look like it would pass emissions :D

if its as much as the cobb... i'd get the cobb. but this is still something interesting. i wonder what the dimensions are and what that thing is in the middle of the pipe... velocity stack type thinger im guessing?

Yeah! Then again it may be extra passable. That extra cat converter may be restrictive to the intake tract. I bet that's supposed to be a torque box of some sort.

It is, but it may not be since the makers of that device might just be imitaking.

Flatt Racing only dealers in racing Subaru NA for year with extensive research.

There are the NA authority.

The device actual replaces the square box that use to be there if you intake setup was like mine.

That is how the EJ204 and the EJ254 is setup in the NA versions.

But what system you have there RS_to_WRX_swap? That MAF is the same as mine in my 155ps JDM EJ20 DOHC w/ AVCS.

Its actually a resonator and a storage tank like in the supra manifold.

It hold just enough air for low to middl end torque and for instant WOT

I have to wonder though is this absolutely necessary. I know from testing a Minnam intake on my Outback Sport, it's midrange shot up by 9-10hp/10lbs-ft and all it is is just piping. Throttle response is instant enough that my 60ft times are in the 2.2 range just by mashing the throttle...in an automatic. It may not seem impressize but it's not like the car has a ton of torque being though it's a 2.2ltr motor.

All I'm saying is that you can keep or even increase the midrange power/torque with just a straight pipe and air filter. Low/midrange torque doesn't just come automatically because a torque box isn't used. ;)

We carry MAF sensors. Its not neccessary, but people like us looks for the extra and there is allways a reason why things are there. As stated before, Flatt Racing takes part in NA racing all over Japan. So to me, that cylinder have a serious reason to be there. My thing is, the pic shown above,, could it be a same type of system? have tehre put in the research, or jsut copy. I want to change mine.

I want to use a USDM 2.5L STI short Block with my EJ20 DOHC AVCS head with 11.5:1 compress pistons. So a new intake is needed. My K&N performnace stock replacement filter works, but I feel more performance can be had with its full removal.

Many mods are plan for my car and I am taking them in steps.

Thats it. I think I did that in 3 gear on my auto. I think she could do well over 200km/h.

No, he just didn't have his normal seat belt buckled. Wrong warning light, dude. I'm guessing (hoping) that he had some other sort of harness on at those kinds of speeds. Otherwise, he must have a death wish.

180kph = 111.85mph. I've done that in my Outback in 3rd on my AT. So what? 200kph = 124.27mph. Big deal. Get excited when it'll do 225kph (140mph).

as you can see, the jdm speedo stops @ 180. Not only that, we do not have the long roads to achieve that speed and go on. You are luck Al.

most probably, but I just posted it since the specs states that up to 190KM/h is allowed.
