I was just wondering if there are any reasons not to do this? for that matter if there are any reasons to do it...is it better than the stock air filter in any way? and are there any potential problems i might have with one?? i have searched for this and i couldnt come up with anything..any help would be much appreciated! oh and one more thing is a K&N filter better than a perrin or does it not make a diff. in any way whatsoever? thank you..jared

They say that the stock intake is good until you get to around 300whp. If i were you I would put in a K&N drop in and save the rest of the money for something else.

I ran the same setup except with a K&N panel and felt a bit of a quicker throttle response...a bit though not tremendous/significant but every little bit helps.
