Hi, i just want some comment on the new panasonic CQVD7700U. I heard it is 7-inch screen with SD input. Moreover, it is 70wx4 output with MOSFET sound quality which beat every DVD (most have 50wx4). Just want some comment if anyone have one installed already because i am determining to get this one or the new kewood one. Thanks! ;)

Are you sure it's 70w? Most HUs that say 50Wx4 are actually between 15 and 25W per channel.

it's probably 70Wmax and not rms which is the important rating.

the new panasonics have a tri-path amp in them. They are rated 60x4 rms/70x4 peak.
As far as the differece between kenwood and panasonic i would get the kenwood. I am an installer and I have installed both in customers cars. The panasonic is much louder and better sounding but I don't like the quality

so you the sound is better in panasonic but
the picture is better on the kewood, right!?

I'd go with the Panasonic if you are gonna be playing "VCD's" :rolleyes: :D

the picture is close to the same with the Kenwood being alittle better. When i mean quality, I mean build quality.

Actually i would prefer to install a DVD with the best sound quality, i think i will go with the panasonic, thanks for all your comments.
